That 86 looks pretty good! Was that the hardware store that burnt down last spring? I've been up that way a few times. There were several cubs at my friends auction, unfortunately they sold the 86 last so I didnt get a chance to buy any of the others. Not a big deal, tho, I have a couple more I can use. Roy

I'm not quite sure if that was the same hardware store or not, though it could have been.....much of the town was old buildings, like from the 1900's .

The kid who is about 22 now, first got the tractor when he was 14. He took pretty good care of this model 86. It would be nice if it had the faster gear drive transmission! I will remove the mud flaps, lol!

Rare bird indeed! Thanks! I plan to keep it, clean it up and get it running keeping it all original as I can!!! Most likely I will farm out the engine repair, and clean up some of the over-spray touch up paint. I found three 3/16th holes that should be filled in, and painted. Got the 86 put away, and have a killer project coming up on my 1450 to tend to, and some things for the model 72 to do for winter duty.

Here is the rear fender pan, the battery well. Its not rusted out like most fender pans are!

I may consider a trade for a nice 1211, { to a collector preferred }.....
but more than likely no one will give two nickels to rub together, so I'll be holding on to the rare bird, lol!

That's a good looking tractor. I like the black wheels, gives it a batmobile look.:biggrin2:
