If that is the same size as the 16HP and I think it is, it should be a very easy repower in a 782. I put a 16 in a 1210 a few years ago. You can get all factory parts from a 1641. Motor plate, spacers, muffler and drive shaft. You'll need a pump adapter, Jeff in Pa can make one for you. Here are some pics of the 1210. You'll need to fab up some duct work to go between the blower housing and the firewall, I used some roll plastic that I got from a race car parts supplier.

Thanks Sam. The 782 is home. Good shape; 1 owner. Engine is a 13hp Honda clone, not running. Frame wasn't butchered. Side panels removed, but I got them. Surprised they are metal; thought they'd be fiberglass. I think it's an early model 782. I'll check the serial number later. Not dual hydraulics. Has a good condition mower deck that I won't be using. Photos tomorrow.

Got a couple photos before the sun went down. It's in pretty good cosmetic condition. Steering is sloppy and one axle seal looks like it has/had a leak.

What is that under the hood? Do us all a favor and take some pics. Does it run and move under it's own power or is it one of those some people should not be allowed to use tools creations? Tractor itself looks like it's worth saving. Talk at you tomorrow, been a long day. :beerchug:

The motor is from Harbor Freight, 13hp, electric start, "Greyhound" brand. The driveshaft connects to the motor as shown below. Had it running on starting fluid. Cleaning carb and gas tank now.
Has a good 50C mower that I will part out after I pressure wash it.

Nice "spacers".

"Does it run and move under it's own power?"

Yes, cleaned carb and gas tank, started right up. Drove it around for a while. Hardly any driveshaft vibration! Hydraulic lift works. 50C mower deck is off.
Pulling the Harbor Freight motor tomorrow and a trial fit of the Vanguard. Hoping I can put the side panels back on with the Vanguard.
