The fact that the bearing inner race just sits on the spindle with the rolling action of the balls onto the inner and outer races, it is a moot point of a rough shaft given the light load on them and slow rpm's involved.
Now if it was the rear axle of a motorhome/1 ton truck it would be recommended
to repair or replace.
