From what I can tell on the Cat 0 ball ends, they are 1" wide, the Xtreme page says these are exact replicas of stock & uses Cat 0 ends. But the gap on the rock shaft on my 1782 is not 1" wide, no way it would fit.

I'll come to the "Rescue" and post the link where cool guys get cheap ball ends. :biggrin2:
Go here and put in your zip, pick a local store. You may be able to pick them up local or just have them shipped, I had them shipped. Do you mean the gap for the toplink is not 1" wide? It's not, you need a special CC toplink with a smaller end or modify your toplink bracket to fit the standard ball end. The rock shaft should use standard ball ends. Bill |

Right, it's not an inch. Maybe 3/4" http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...207_094302.jpg |

The "Garden Tractor" uses bigger end links than the "Super Garden Tractor"?

Sound to me like you need to just buy a set already made. I don't think you have any idea what you are trying to build.
Scrap yard for steel, "nickel and dime'n" the cost of the rod ends..... Good grief. If you had bought new steel and just ordered the rod ends off the cheapest ebay place you already saved quite a bit. |

I'm going to politely say, that I disagree, and that I don't think it's fair to ask us to find you the cheapest parts. That's just a matter of searching until you find a price you want to pay. No the SGT's don't use bigger ends. Cat 0 is Cat 0. However, the GT and SGT lift arms are different, as shown in the pic Sam Mac posted. |
