Question: Do the spindles interchange? One deck had spindles that bolted on the top, the other bolted from the bottom. All 6 spindles are good so I will keep the old deck for parts if they interchange. [They look like they do]
The deck I got is in much better condition then the one I had. I cleaned it up and painted it with rust encapsulating paint.
The Mule drive adjustment knob was on the tractor when I got it 13 years ago. I thought it was stock until I noticed photos on this forum.
This is the first post I have made but not the first time I have used this forum, I have gotten information before, like when I rebuilt my PTO clutch last year.

The original one I had is a "38a Rotary Mower"
the other is "38" Deck 357190 38c"

Both the 38A and the 38C take the ST-745 bearing
