For those following at home the trust washer was my idea. The gear was chewed up there and weld would probably have been fine, but an oil impregnated bronze bushing can be replaced. Got one for the other side for between the frame and collar.

Now I've got to step up my game, I didn't expect the axle to be fixed so soon.

Looking forward to R&T. Spent hours on YouTube and Wikipedia looking at info on all the engines I saw. The Otto Lagen was the first internal combustion engine to compress the mixture and live... :D
