While I had the rear end out I figure it would be a good idea to change the leaking axle seals and axle tube gaskets.

I got it out in about 30 minutes. My best time ever.
This one was filled with atf, I had a Deere 316 that had atf which was an acceptable to Deere. Any ways when I pulled it out the cork gasket came off in one piece and probably would have sealed for another 10 years. Of course the ones that won't get used again have the good parts. Also ordered gaskets and seals today, profit be a couple weeks cause I'm cheap and didn't want to pay for shipping. My dealer has to have a certain amount on order to get free shipping. |
