Yes, but it is fixable.
They needed clearance for the starter.
Have no idea if it even runs yet or not (really don't care) nor any idea what the engine may have been in to start with.
I have a K301 to put back in it, so it will live again>

Trunion fix on a 127 I had at one point. It didn't work too too bad but it was, you guessed it, jerky as all hell.

I know..... But I saved a lot of good parts off of it. I bought it for the motor. I've never done anything with it. Keep thinking I'll put in in my 682, but haven't had the time. Really want to do some stuff like that this winter. We'll see.

You should have seen the gas tank!! The pipe on the side was welded to the fender. Can't believe they didn't blow themselves up when they welded those on!!!

Yes to all the above! Except maybe the alcohol part. Guy I knew was letting his like 10yr old son "customize" it. He was planning to enter it into a lawn mower derby. Fortunately for me, it never went. I found the governor bypassed and the throttle wired up. It wasn't wired wide open, but bypassed the governor nonetheless. Scared me.... but i think it's ok. :bigthink: I'll find out one of these days.

I love the automotive donut wheel; must have been his "spraying" tractor for post emergence narrow row crop gardening...:bigthink:
