Should I apply any sealant around the oil seal and can i replace it with fluid in the transaxle or no?

I would think you already have the fluid out being you removed the axles. No sealant is used.

I hope you have a good NAPA that will work with you. Mine would tell me to get lost and wouldn't help me find squat.
