I paid the following for PPG Shopline paint two months ago when I painted my 102.
JP375 Epoxy Primer - $24.00 a quart JH3770 Epoxy Primer Hardener - $8.00 a pint JAU Urethane 81518 Federal Yellow - $39.00 a quart JAU Urethane 8665 White - 30.00 a quart JH6680 Hardener - $17.00 a half pint JR506 Reducer - $27.54 a gallon I ended up using close to 2 quarts of the yellow and a little over a half quart of the white when I painted the 102 in pieces. Also about 1 1/2 quarts of the epoxy primer. Total bill at the body shop supply came to about $270.00, but I wanted this paint job to last. The nice thing about urethane with hardener is it's pretty resistant to chemicals like gas and oil. Plus you can color sand and buff it to a glass like finish if you're so inclined. Use caution when spraying though, it's pretty toxic. Bob |
