Your deck is a 38"cast end 3 blade deck.there is no serial # on these or the 42" ones that are cast end decks.

Thats good to know. Then I will stop looking for a tag. What is the proper manual for this deck? I don't recall seeing one around here ,but I could have missed it.

Thanks DX3 I have the mower that is on the 70 in that manual. It gives me some good visual aids to see what mine should look like. I know there is something wrong with the center spindle. I grabbed it with my hand and the whole thing moved side to side.:bigeyes: Haven't had time to look at anything yet. I'm kinda wondering if there is any kind of service manual showing the spindle break down. Can you still get parts for these mowers?:bigthink: I like the heavy duty construction of this mower deck.:biggrin2:
