		Hi guy's,
I might as well call this thread "what did my son do with my cub today". Spent the whole day working outside mulching and planting, laying topsoil around the yard. The only seat time I got was when his mom lured him inside for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Oh the sacrifices we make as parents;) |

Great pics Grey531! Looks like your son was having a good time. Thanks for sharing.

No shorts here 27deg hooked the Cub to the wagon and picked up limb's:Cub3 that blew down this winter.JMD

 Thanks ACecil , Wild Bill.
We all had a great time. It was just one of those picture perfect day's. Got a lot of work done and had fun doing it. |

 Thanks Diz, Eagle.
No worries Eagle..I only use plastic garden tool's. And my wife makes me wear a helmet when I drive the tractor:Huh: I asked her why..She said it looks cute..:p |

Ok, over that past days I've gotton a lot done. monday saw the 149 in the quonset. wouldn't start. new plug, away she went into the garage. pulled the plate off the hydro. I got a sludgey mess there. drained the oil from the engine. put in new 30. today, I pulled the k341 out of the 149. I got the k321 on the hoist and dropped in. got two bolts in and then had to go. all in all, a great day! anybody else do anything?!

Well today I took the 72 with loader and pulled out all 24 pine tree that my parents plantet 3 years ago that died over the winter.
Pulling them out this time of the year is a sure lot easyer than mid summer when the ground has had a chance to dry out. Drop the bucket next to the tree, wrap a short chain arounf the trunk twice and hook to bucket. Lift bucket and out comes the tree, roots and all. |

Great work Tyler and Lonny!
As for me, I hauled more limbs with the 100 and cart. |

Did a little clean up at my parents old place today. Took the 149 and the trailer.
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...e4-9-09009.jpg My daughter helped me gather up sticks and branches. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...e4-9-09014.jpg I drug some of the bigger limbs. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...e4-9-09016.jpg It was a nice day to be out doing somthing with my Cub. |

Great pics Diz! Thanks for sharing.

Today I finished rebuilding a different carb for my 1282. I got to hear it run for the first time since I bought the tractor. :biggrin2.gif: The old carb was rusted shut so I used a carb from an old 10hp Kohler I had, changed out he linkage and new float too. Runs real smooth, without skipping a beat. I was really expecting the engine to smoke but I got lucky and it didn't.
I changed two of the tie-rod ends a while back. Today I thought I'd get a better tire alignment and while doing that I broke the one that didn't get changed. Looks like Monday I have a new project after I see my local NAPA dealer. Started sanding the grill shell. I think that will get painted along with the front and rear axles soon. |

Glad to here you got it running michcruiser60,:IH Logo:

I was very pleased since it was my first time plowing. It rolled pretty good for having paint on the share. Alot of it is worn off now. I liked how it was pulling the engine some. I'm going to be getting some rimguard (beet juice) put in this week. That'll add about another 140lbs.

 aagitch,
That ought to really make a difference. :IH Logo: |

Spent the all day yesterday replaceing the busted steering box on my cub with loader.
After getting the steering box replaced I removed the loader from the tractor to prevent breaking the replacement steering box. |

I took the deck off the 126 today, sand blasted some light surface rust, and shot some paint on it. It should be good to go now!

Worked in our tomato patch and used the 100, to haul the gardening tools. My little helper, had to get in the pic.

Put some tire chains on the 128 used it to pull out a stuck John Deere 212. lol .on the front of the deere it said"fear the deere". well i guess you cant fear it when its stuck haha.
:BB&YS: wish i would have had the camera. |

 ACecil.
The 100 is looking good sitting on some green grass. Our yard is getting greened up pretty good also. Cubmonkey, You can fear the deere. But the deere better fear the Cub. :biggrin2.gif::IH Logo: Glad to here you got it pulled out. |

Last weekend we plowed at Monterey IN plow days, now we are gearing up for the Greensburg IN plow days. Inbetween, the 782d handles putting the cub hauling trailer away and general yard chores, our yard is to small to cut with it, even with a baby 44" mower deck. Mike

I had to get the cub out of the shop so I could work on the zero turn and I shot a quick pic. The 682 is quickly becoming my favorite!

 ih782dmike,
Don't look like the plow was giving your 782d any problems:biggrin2.gif: Good lookin tractor  Randy Littrell, quite the nice lineup you have there. |

I rolled the front yard today with the 1282. It's now in the garage with the grill off. I had a tab for one of the head lights come off. I have no way of welding aluminum so I'm trying a little JB Weld on it. Looks like it might work.
Bought a new head light at NAPA also. Mich60 |

	I understand, I'll have nothing but '82's. Scott |

Went to the Kubota dealer today and had them put some rimguard (beetjuice) in the rears on the 782. It was only 50 bucks after tax for a total of 145lbs of more weight. If I would of known it was going to be that cheap I wouldn't have gotten my set of 25lb cast weights that are on it.
Cruiser, I used JB weld for my grill piece a few years ago and it's still holding up. |
