This is Hank(Henry). An 8 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd. He think he's my best friend. I think he's right. Don't often catch him relaxing like this. He loves his frisbee, and toys too.
http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/p...pictureid=3542 This is Teaka. She was our sweetheart. Spoiled little girl. Sad day Oct 10th when we had to say goodbye. She is was a Yorkie. She was 14 1/2 years old. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/p...pictureid=3543 |
Wow great shots of all the pets!
This is Maggie our 8 month old Golder Retriever. Good pup. She is by my side most of the time unless she is off digging more holes in the yard! Trying to make a squirrel dog out of here, time will tell on that topic:) We haven't got one yet. Nice to have a dog back in the family too. Yea we still have Gracie the cat and she now has a friend, Blacky, who is just as nice. They both hate the dog. http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...e/CIMG2304.jpg |
No horses? Goats? Slithery critters?
Nik, |
This is my buddy Fenway, my 2-year-old beagle/pointer mix.
http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/...2/101_0037.jpg we got him from a shelter when he was 12 weeks old, and 11 pounds. he's leveled off at right around 50. He loves to run everywhere and do everything I do. He's very playful, but he's the fist dog I've ever owned that has NEVER gotten into the trash or destroyed anything in the house while we're away (save his own stuffed toys). We're inseparable. http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/...2/101_0046.jpg |

Nik, I didn't think anyone was interested in seeing my tarantulas, seems nobody likes them but me. I also have two large alligator snapping turtles that I've owned for over 14 years, Chops and Guillotine. I raised them from the time they were the size of a 1/2 dollar. Yes, Bubba says a few words, but we never teach him anything bad. He will say "Big truck" when the garbage men come by, and "it's raining" when it's raining outside. He says them both when its raining and it's garbage day!! He's a clown.:HeeHee: CaptMax |

This is Abby, our Golden Retriever mix. We kept her hair short. Had to put her down this fall right before her 17th birthday.
|
Oh she is a beaut. Sorry about your loss. We just went through that with our Yorkie Oct 10th. Memebers of the family, they are.
|
Sorry for your losses, guys! We get so attached to them!

Well I would show you a picture of my Golden, but she went to heaven after 12 years back during the Summer. Sad day at the Young house that day, but we all got over it on on with life. I have had dogs all my life and I tell you it's hard to loose them and as you get older it gets harder to want one knowing your going to have to go through the the whole deal again. We haven't replaced her yet with another dog, but my daughter brought this home a month ago. Yeah we have cats around five last count and then this one.
http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/IMG_2037.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/IMG_2038.jpg It's a Bengal cat and I must admit after all of these years I never heard of one. Anyway he is a pretty cool cat and a lover boy to boot. It's about the most vocal cat I ever heard in my life and when the daughter moves into her home we are fixing up he's going with her.:beerchug: |
It's been awhile. Lotsa new guys. Soooooooooooooo ya must have furry critters running around the house & barn? Or ?
Nothing better than drinking my coffee in the morning & admiring everyone's pets. Let's see them. NIK, |
This is our mutt Payton. The fiance and I adopted her about a year ago from a shelter one town over. She had been picked up as a stray on the streets of another small town about 15 miles away. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and she is nothing short of a sweet, spoiled little brat! :biggrin2: But we love her and couldn't imagine a day without her now. She's pretty smart, too; basic tricks like sit, lay down, stay are easy. But she's also picked up how to walk on her hind legs, she won't take a treat until you say "munch", she'll lay down with a treat on her paw and won't eat it till you count to 5, and a couple others. This pic was taken on a road trip her and I went on, for a Cub of course! Hope y'all enjoy! :beerchug:

It's amazing how we get attached to our pets. Or is it the other way around?

Here's our watch dogs, hard at work. Both rescue dogs, Star the black lab had her tail & one ear clipped by her former owner. And LP Shepard/beagle mix just wondered in one day. They are 10 & 11 yrs old now and they are starting to show their age with Hip problems. Walk up to the door and you would think they will rip your arm off, give them a treat and they will help carry any thing you want!
