Snowing pretty good here now but I heard on the radio we're only supposed to get 2-6", i was really hoping for more so I could give the 1811 some serious run time.

OL' George , Terry,& Tim,

Just wasn't able to get out in the snow today. Hopefully tomorrow. Maybe it will slack off tonight. Tim, If you want to play in some deep snow, come on down. You know where I live. Everyone have a great snow day.

Well we have 15.5" here and counting. My first ever snow with the 782 and single stage 46A. This blower is horrible. Snow plugged the shoot every 5 feet no matter how slow I go. Any tips or tricks the help this thing work better?

Sam Mac 01-23-2016 11:18 AM

Just came in from plowing. The BX went through our 15" + like a hot knife through butter. Stuff was rolling over the top of the blade and the blade is 24" tall. I'll go back out later once the wind slows down. Coffee time. :coffee::coffee: :biggrin2:

Short term put some wax on it or spray it with some Pam.

darkminion_17 01-23-2016 11:20 AM

At 6:30 am,there was a light dusting,as of 10:00 this morning we have 5" and counting.
the 1440 is ready with the 451 on it,and the 125 with a blade is ready also.

The man in the weather radio has us in a blizzard warning now!

Went out about 9am to turn on the torpedo heater so the 125 starts easier and as I open the basement door, I see this, That little crest was just over my knee

Started the heater and did a short walk

I went out to clear snow and use my IH windbreaker for the first time. I like it.

It just keeps drifting

I finished the driveway about 45 minutes ago and you can't tell I did anything at all due to the drifting. Yes, it's still snowing.

I have to get back out about 3:15 pm so the driveway is clear when Mary gets home from work. No calling out when you work at the hospital ( well at least if you're a responsible person )

biglefty 01-23-2016 12:46 PM

I had to shovel a spot for my little dog to go 3 times so far it keeps blowing shut. The snow is way over his head. Hope Mary gets home okay.

Working Cub cadets

Well in central Maryland we are getting hammered with snow. My place my 1450 and Q-36 blower is handling the task. My son has my big 12 horse walk behind two stage blower and my younger son is actually plowing his place using his 149 and 42 inch blade. All the cub equipment is working flawlessly, we will take on anything that they throw at us. :biggrin2:

I've got one of those photos too, LOL, this is outside our breezeway door. I was out at 10 am and cleared the first 15", got another 4" and it's still coming down as hard as I've seen it. Since we can't all afford cozy cabs, I used my motorcycle helmet today while throwing for the first time...that was nice, I stayed warm and dry. :beerchug:

I'd rather be on the boat in warm weather than pushing this white crap that Tim wished upon us. :biggrin2:
