Going to keep a eye on the weather. I think it's going to rain about every day this week. We might want to plan a rain date incase this gets rained out.

I'll post updates as soon as I get them.

Iluvtruks0 03-28-2011 12:29 AM

A rain date would be a good idea after looking at the weather report. Not looking to good for us. I suggest everyone on here to just start throwing out dates. I also know we can't push it back forever due to the fact that Mr. Jim is wanting to plant. He may just take care of it himself if we wait too long.

As for dates that work for me. April 9th and 16th are busy for me. I'm aware those are the 2 weekends immediatley following this weekend and I know getting this done as soon as we can is important so don't let my plans stand in anyones way.

I can only hope the rain amount this upcoming week is minimal so I can partake in another wonderful pd.

Ps. If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?....

Pilgrims!!! Haha

I'm good the 9th and 16th going to Tenn. after that. The 9th is the Turnersburg show/swap meet.

Might be best to call Jim and see what he's thinking.

:Announce:Just hung up the phone with Jim. He said unless you want to go mud boggin on the garden tractors, we best leave them in the shed this weekend.

He still wants to have this plowday and he suggested April 30th which is the last weekend in April. Hope everyone can make it. Hopefully with a whole extra month to prepare for, we can have more in attendence and Earl can get a good gas cap!

I'm still not sure if that will be enough time for Earl to get a good gas cap! He thinks he can run as long as those smokers from Mt. Airy.:biggrin2:

Jude will be down for the plow day and he'll be at the controls of the 100 with loader, Evan will be plowing with the 125 and I'll be on the 1200! Going to need to borrow or buy a plow and brinley adaptor for the 100. Jude doesn't need any spring assist on the 100.:biggrin2:

Getting pretty pumped for the plow day!

Vince_o 04-06-2011 10:09 PM

Duke

As of right now Im planing on being there and will bring a plow and a hitch for you to borrow. But you might want to make a back up plan incase I dont make it.

Fresh pics from Alabama plow day(yesterday) a friend sent me last night...looks to be more Deere's than Cubs. And the red 782 may be nashcub's tractor? May get a post and pics from him. 149 and 73 owner I met last year,he bought some parts from me and get this...he made those fenders that are on the 73 and would take a trained eye to notice! Hope the Cubs represented themselves well!

Thanks for the pictures

Looks like a Deere broke, and is holding up the entire process. They should have let the 149 up to second in line, so he could plow the Deere under, and save the day :biggrin2:

Also looks kinda wet.

The Cub Cadets on the trailer are sharp!!! :beerchug:

So funny Bill!:beerchug:
