Tore the 782 apart to find the oil leak. It's the front seal. I have another post covering that.

So, since the 782 is down, and it's the snowblower tractor, I decided to pull my 1450 out of the barn and put the blade on it. So, I took the rototiller off of the 1450 (not too bad a deal, 4 pins, the belt, and your out) and put a front wheel from my SO76 on it, since I took the rim apart to put in a new tube, and had not bought the tube yet. I never noticed until today that the front wheels on a 782 are a larger axle than a 1450. I also had to put the rear wheels with the chains on the 1450 since I don't have chains for the smaller rears. I have not yet installed the weights, as I am going to try without for now in hopes the 782 is up and running soon.

So, my 1450 has a donut spare on it now (rigged with washer spacers) and a blade from a 782 on it, which seems to fit funny and not lift high enough. The donut will come off tomorrow after I purchase a new tube (after church). The poor 782 looks awfully funny with the skinny rears.

But, I got 4 hours of cub time today. If it wasn't for snow in the forecast, I probably would have just waited to fix the 782.

Diz Jr. 01-16-2010 09:42 PM

camarokidz28,

I am trying to think of a good monster name for the wagon, cause i am sure if its going to have 6 wheels it will need a good name :biggrin2.gif:

camarokidz28,
That is going to be so cool !!!
Different configuration than i was thinking.
You are really going to be able to put a load on that one

camarokidz28 01-22-2010 07:28 PM

Diz JR .What configuration was you thinking

Diz Jr. 01-22-2010 07:35 PM

When you said 6 wheel wagon, i was thinking all three axles close together. I like your idea a lot better. It really looks great
I should have known it was going to be bigger than my imagination :biggrin2.gif:

camarokidz28 01-22-2010 07:53 PM

Diz JR . Humm sounds like a furture project . the reason i made this is i had those tires and rim's just setting in the way and i thought a big trailer / wagon would come in handy for brush , and i liked the look of the hay / straw wagon's we have around here . with the twin axle's in back . How about a 8 wheel wagon with the 2 fronts that steer . only need 4 more tires and rim's . I got to stop bulding for a bit so i can get started on my 100 restoration .

ACecil 01-22-2010 10:08 PM

Cool looking trailer, camarokid! Keep the progress pics coming.

ACecil 01-23-2010 03:42 PM

Put a set of chains on the 109 with the V plow . Ground is soggy now with the warm weather and rain we got 46 deg's , but is going back to 28 deg's tonight . 40 percent chance of snow monday . I can only hope for a chance to try out the V plow .

ACecil 01-24-2010 06:30 PM

Great pics, dleblossom! :beerchug:

Thanks CBH! I don't know, if we'll get any snow this Winter. If we do, I'll definitely get some snow pics. Here's some from last January.
