It felt good to take the chains & plow off my # 127 last Saturday, changed my oil to get it ready to kill grass. But then I woke up to this....:bash2::bash2:
I'll never ever wish for snow again. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...psw5hlvkj3.jpg |
Looks like a few inches of the white crap!:biggrin2:

Changed the oil in the 149 today.
Also found a new PO mod:bash2: |
Gotta love the PO mods Todd!:bash2:

It's amazing what people do to these machines. They can be fixed right, so easily.
|
I picked up some parts from the Cub Cadet dealer today. Two PTO to deck belts for the 100 and a cork gasket, large trunnion spring, and spring pins for the 129. The small trunnion spring is on backorder. Hopefully the new springs will fix the 129's speed changes under load.

Hauled some limbs with the super Thursday. Was windy most of the week.

Finished the deck for the 1782, put it on. Took a couple pics of the 1782 and the 2182 then cut some grass with the 1782. Successful test run. I'm Happy Happy Happy. :beerchug:

Had my 149 out today for the first time since picking it up. Hooked it up to the aerator, but still to much frost in the ground:bash2: But I had fun just the same. |
Thanks guys!

Jonathan it runs pretty good. Got a little more than usual exhaust smell, like unburned fuel, I'm needing to do some carburetor adjustment. I used the dual stick 1650 before getting on the 149, then kept reaching on the wrong side for the control handle.:biggrin2: It was warm compared to what it has been, got into the low 50's, not t-shirt weather for this boy. I looked at some pictures from March 2012, and the grass was green, and the trees were leafing, not this year. Met a nice fellow today who picked up my 1250. He wanted something for a project he's planning so I let it go. All I was going to do was use it for parts anyway, so another one was saved:beerchug: |
