Wow, that seems to be a 1/4 mile long? Are you just playing or gonna plant in that field?

Looks good, Darrell! I'll race ya!!
Now to my Cub weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get any work done on the 782, just got some more parts from Sam. I put 5 hours in on the 1864 this weekend tho! I mowed the lawn yesterday before it rained. Today I mowed 3+ acres of X-mas trees, most of it over a foot tall, and thick! Before I mowed today I went and looked at the 1863 my Papaw bought after the 1811. My uncle has been using it to now since Papaw passed. He said he put 3 QTS in it last time he mowed. I will be putting a front seal in it next week and cleaning it up. I hope he didn't hurt it too bad. That is why I blew the 1864 off 3 times with the leaf blower while I was mowing today! :beerchug: |
Looking good, Travis!

Finished up the heart transplant on the 1330 (I know it's not a GT but there's no place for what you did to your LT) and put my new grill in the 100. Thanks Lew:beerchug: |

Finally got the garden in for the year. Didn't get any action shots of me tilling but got one of the g/f (well I suppose I should now say fiance since she said yes!) driving the tractor to put her away. The plot isn't as big as I'd like, but we were able to cram enough in there. Got some sweet corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, celery, green peppers, wax pepper, and cucumbers. Was then able to use the grass clippings I've collected so far this year to cover things up. Turns out, if you can't tell, I've collected waaaayyyyy too much, but I can't complain about the seat time! :biggrin2: Only problem we ran into was a huge concrete block about 4 inches down smack dab in the middle! :bash2: Took a sledge hammer and sweat but we got it broekn up and out. Other than that, it should be a good year; good dark soil, right by the garden hose, and plenty of sun!

Ryan,

Allen, I'm glad you got to go for a ride on your cubs! Been raining here almost non-stop all week. Didn't get the yard mowed over the weekend, and week two is fast approaching. No seat time here.
Tim, That's a big trailer! Is that a SGT up on there? :bigthink: |

Appreciate it, Todd & Jonathan!

Picking up a shipping container and needed to haul all this back to the farm. Thought it was amusing so thought you guys might like a laugh. That is a Super (2072), It gets to mow the farm and pull a trailer around to collect dead stuff. Put the correct the 50 inch deck on it and is working great. Someday I will get the 3pt, 3rd hydraulics and Red paint on it. Has to fit the Farmall theme. Oh and proper lug tires.
Allen - is great to see cub rides going on. My boy and I make that run around the block every so often. It is a blast. You at least get pics to share. I need to step up. lol |

I replaced the pto bearing.
Bent the holding tabs, and lightly pounded out the bearing. Then took three 1/2 drive extensions and used those for a support so I could tap down with a hammer the new bearing. Being the pulley is spring loaded and didn't want to take a chance of breaking something. Used the old bearing between the hammer and new one, worked good. Then gouged in a couple new tabs. Now all I need is the field coil$$$ |
Nice work Todd!
And you are waiting on me!:bash2: |
