I enjoy my seat time also, Sam!

Update time, The 2264 has been used now for a season. No problems, it got a NOS 54" GT deck last spring (I have a nice GT48 that I will probably sell). The last couple days it got some TLC. New axle seals, a set of Xtreme GT rear end braces and an Xtreme rear diff cover. New filters and fluid for both the engine and trans. I changed to Shell Rotella T 15-40 for the trans. The hydro is now nice and quiet. Pretty much done with it till spring.

Glad it worked out for you! Now you need a blower and lots of snow!!

No blower for this kid. I have a plow for the BX if I need to move any of that white crap. besides when we do get snow it's the wet heavy crud that just plugs a blower.:biggrin2:

Sam, sounds like you are really liking your 2264. There is nothing wrong with having some extra power. I have never heard of running Rotella T 15-40 in a hydro before. Are their any other advantages besides quieting it down? I may want to try it in my 782.
Thanks
Tom

I've used the 15-40 in other hydro's before never had any problems. It meets the Sundstrand specs and it was on sale. I think it may be a better quality oil compared to the TSC stuff I had in it.

Is it just engine oil or what?

Yep, it's engine oil and that's what I run in my machines too.
