Diggin' the NNF Todd! :beerchug:
Saturday morning I pulled the carb off of the CH in the 782. It's been lean since I got it mobile. Gave it a good cleaning and replaced an o-ring. Fired it up and tried out the new box blade on some potholes on the driveway. One day I will finish the wiring and muffler. It really needs some tri-ribs on the front.:bigthink: Then I cleaned up the mess from Mondays storm. The truck took a good wack on the roof. Luckily no glass was broken. Today my creeper for '67 102 showed up. Can't wait to get goin!:biggrin2: |

Yanked the engine from the 782 today to get ready for a head gasket, and from the looks of things right now, a few more gaskets.
|
Good luck, Todd!

Lookin good, Todd! :beerchug: I'm envious of your always clean garage. If I had a garage with fancy concrete floors and such, I hope it would look like that! :biggrin2:
Guys the storm was pretty bad! I saw debris every where the next day. The worst part is I don't normally park my truck there, for this very reason. I just never moved it from picking up that '67 102:angry: I will try the heat gun and some freon and see if it pops out. It's the only part of that deal that the Cubs can't fix. :beer2: |
I was doing some yard work but the little ones had other plans....

I see your log in name has 69 ss 396. You got pictures? Is it a Camaro or Chevelle? I had three 69 Chevelle's, one SS and a 69 El Camino back, years ago, love those cars. Just being nosey.:bigthink: |
I've had it for 20yrs,

There were a few maples that blew down in a wind storm a while back at a friend of mine's property, so i bucked them up and skidded them to a landing. He's paraplegic so it's really difficult for him to move around in the woods and run a chainsaw, but once they're up on the landing he'll be able to take care of business.
I did happen to get 4+ hours of seat time! :biggrin2: Some of the maple was still green and 14 - 16" across and yet the cub pulled it. It amazes me what this little 2072 will do, but i do have 3pt to lift the end of the logs a little bit so the end doesn't dig in, and the rear tires are loaded with windshield washer fluid and i have a set of wheel weights on them. |
Did mowing today. Not with a cub cadet but with my ford lgt100. It does have a cub cadet deck on it tho lol

Needed to bury a line today. Used the ripper on the 149 to bust up the ground. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...psb614788c.jpg http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...psf87a839d.jpg http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...psf749c67e.jpg After i got the line where i wanted it, i put the rear blade on and filled the ditch back in. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...psc169147e.jpg |
Is that ripper homemade?
Where might a guy get one of those? |

What Cubs do in the desert

I don't mow or push snow with my Cub, but I do haul palm tree and lemon tree branches. Kids help too! Push a little rock around for fun sometimes.

Thanks Diz:beer2:
Looks like the 149 did an exceptional job with the ripper and rear blade:beerchug: |
