Gotta keep cool! 110 degrees today. Nice thing about it, if I get hot, jump in the pool! :biggrin2: |

Its just my plow. Take the plow part off and put a ripper tooth in its place. Tractor supply has the replacement ripper shanks for the big box scrapers. I got the idea from someone else, here is the picture they had that gave me the idea. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/l...s/PA150007.jpg It works really good at breaking the ground up. |

Made a trailer hitch for the 1782
2 Attachment(s)
I sold my Ford 8N this weekend and realized afterward that I no longer had a way to move my trailers around in the yard, so I built a hitch for the smoker today. I was able to bolt it through existing holes in the rear plate and the original hitch can still be used with this one on the tractor.

Nice work on the hitch jubilee

Thanks Diz Jr. The ball portion is removable leaving just the abbreviated receiver.

Great idea for the plow/ ground ripper conversion, and the box hitch mount is too.
I'm still working out the bugs on a 3205. Replaced the missing grommet on trans around fill tube. Slimed two tires with slow leaks and mowed two acres. Just before putting away, choke & throttle cables quit working. Stripped down to carb and cleaned all the crud out. Works fine now. |
The rain finally stopped, so I got some seat time on the cubs. Only got some pics of the super.

Thanks Todd, I sure do! :beerchug:

The super looks good Allen!

Thanks Mike!

Got about 4 hours of seat time on Smoky Joe (AKA the 1782) today killing grass. Man what an awesome tractor. Sorry no pics, I was having too much fun. :beerchug:
|
Got my parts in and started putting the engine back together on the 782:beerchug: hopefully it'll be running tomorrow.

Not today, but just now getting to it.

Saturday I put in 6 hours of seat time between the 2155 and 1864 bush hogging/ mowing. No pics of that, sorry. Sunday I started making some room in the woodshed for wood. Moved the decks and Super to the barn. The 1864 was moving(barely) when I took the pic, so it is an action shot.:beerchug:
|
Pulled the spark plugs out, to find out why it was only running on (1) cylinder. No compression on the left side cylinder:bash::bash:.
Next I need to pull the head and hope it's something simple. If it's just a holed piston, I may repair the KT. Anything thing more significant than that, I'm repowering it with a kit from SEW. Vanguard. |

Those 26's on the Super sure do look more than 3 inches bigger than the 23's on the 1864. :bigthink: |

Jenn and I got the yard mowed, then I got some seat time with the super and lawn sweeper.

We haven't cut grass for over a week here, all dried up from lack of moisture, but it don't hurt my feelings:bigthink: |
Thanks Todd! Wish I could send you some of our rain. We're going to get a good soaking this weekend into Monday.

Looking good Allen! :beerchug:

Killed quite a bit of grass with the 1864

Sam Mac is always killing grass to. I think your doing it wrong..... because it's still green.:biggrin2: maybe you guys are clipping, mowing, cutting, butchering, trimming, whacking, and probably a few more I can't think of, but your not "killing grass":biggrin2:

Lets see....
This weekend... Mowed 4 acres Took off the Deck and put on the Johnny Bucket Jr Hauled 2 tons of stone into the flower beds Started cutting in the 4ft path for the new walkway from garage to back porch Pushed and pulled a 1964 Ford 4000 Select O Speed from the detached garage Yep, the Super earned its keep.... |
So what do you think, overkill having the Super on a 30" lawn sweep collecting grass clippings? :biggrin2: http://s26.postimg.org/cp6ka9bex/IMG...508_Custom.jpg http://s26.postimg.org/57xcv1lvt/IMG...521_Custom.jpg |
.
Replaced oil seal behind the PTO, then I'm like :D No obvious oil leaks, then I'm like :D:D Mow grass 30 minutes and Cubby breaks again, then I'm like :bash2::Rant::Swear::ThumbsDown::mad::( |
