Thanks Josh, it's a Sycamore. I'll be dealing with the leaves for awhile, but I don't mind. I have the tools for the job. :biggrin2:

Reduced the grass length with the 1782 yesterday. It was only about 10" tall. Been wet for about 2 weeks. Made the little guy blow smoke a few times. :biggrin2:

Hayride at the farm. Gave the 1811 a little time off from mowing.

Changed the oil over to 10w-30, and added an extra set of weights to the dual stick.

Got my recently acquired 86 running today....my first Kohler overhaul. Took a little persuading and some creative electrical work but got it running good enough to ride it down the road to my Parent's house. Unfortunately, they weren't home.
Need to get an ignition switch, battery, O/H the carb, get the PTO back on and fine tune everything & it'll be good to go. |
Mowed the lawn with the 2182 and the 1782. Yep it sucks to be me. :biggrin2:

Got some good cub time in today. Jenn and I trimmed some low branches on the Sycamore. Had several loads to haul. Then used the 782 to haul some water.

Berwill: Love the two pics! First one it's like she's saying "Smile for the camera!" and the second one she's clearly thinking "Ok, back to work!" :biggrin2:

I had alot of seat time today on 3 Cubs. I mowed the lawn(and some leaves too) with the 1864. Graded the driveway with the 782 and box blade. I hauled my first load of wood to the house with the '66 102. I included a pic of the inside of the house to show the wood box that has a door in the back. I also removed the cast end deck from the 67 102.
Now it is time for some baseball and beer! :beer2: Go Nats!! |
Nice machines everyone! We moved a few trailer loads to the fire pit with the Original today.
