Neat pic Allen. Sycamore trees?

ACecil 09-15-2014 12:17 AM

Thanks Josh, it's a Sycamore. I'll be dealing with the leaves for awhile, but I don't mind. I have the tools for the job. :biggrin2:

Reduced the grass length with the 1782 yesterday. It was only about 10" tall. Been wet for about 2 weeks. Made the little guy blow smoke a few times. :biggrin2:

Agreed. Love the look of the tru powers on my 2082.

I just go outside and stare at my tractors. No, seriously. I just got back inside...

ACecil 09-22-2014 12:49 AM

Got my recently acquired 86 running today....my first Kohler overhaul. Took a little persuading and some creative electrical work but got it running good enough to ride it down the road to my Parent's house. Unfortunately, they weren't home.

Need to get an ignition switch, battery, O/H the carb, get the PTO back on and fine tune everything & it'll be good to go.

Sam Mac 09-27-2014 06:40 PM

Mowed the lawn with the 2182 and the 1782. Yep it sucks to be me. :biggrin2:

Got some good cub time in today. Jenn and I trimmed some low branches on the Sycamore. Had several loads to haul. Then used the 782 to haul some water.

Putting 'em to work. That's what our cubs are for. Looking good Allen. :beerchug:

We need some pics of this Sycamore tree. She must be big/old. :biggrin2:

ACecil 09-28-2014 11:38 PM

Thanks Josh! The Sycamore has been there awhile. My grandpa planted it many years ago.

zippy1 09-29-2014 12:59 AM

Allen, sounds like a good day. Quality time with Jenn and the cubs.:beerchug:

ACecil 09-29-2014 12:08 PM

Took a chance and bought it anyway and found the issue right away when I got it home. The end cap on the muffler was loose and rattling. I got it tac welded all the way around and now it purrs like a kitten!!

My 2082 had exactly the same problem when I bought it, the PO had tried to weld it but there wasn't enough good metal left and it still rattled and leaked, I bit the bullet and bought a new muffler.

I had alot of seat time today on 3 Cubs. I mowed the lawn(and some leaves too) with the 1864. Graded the driveway with the 782 and box blade. I hauled my first load of wood to the house with the '66 102. I included a pic of the inside of the house to show the wood box that has a door in the back. I also removed the cast end deck from the 67 102.

Now it is time for some baseball and beer! :beer2: Go Nats!!

Diesel Krazy 10-04-2014 09:55 PM

Nice machines everyone! We moved a few trailer loads to the fire pit with the Original today.
