I don't blame you. Still, look at you; jeans and a hoodie out sweeping leaves while us Northerners spent out afternoon in coats pushing snow. Enjoy it Allen!! :biggrin2: :beerchug:

They say we may have a colder Winter here, along with more snow. I hope so, the 782 will get some work with the blade.

I'll cross my fingers for you, I'm sure by the end of the winter I'll be trying send some snow down your way :beer2:

ACecil 11-16-2014 10:38 PM

Send it on, Ryan...lol. I know one thing, those twins don't like starting in cold weather. Had a time getting the 782 and 1872 started today. May get a small heater for the shop.

A block/oil pan heater will go a long way. I had a heck of a time getting my 682 started last winter; at one point, I covered it with a tarp and let a small space heater go overnight when I know I had to use it the next day. This year, I'm hoping I have better luck with the Command engines.

ACecil 11-17-2014 09:38 PM

The rain stopped earlier this evening, so I got the cubs out. We had a warmer day today. The cubs started a lot better. Going to get cold, the next couple days.

I pushed some snow with the 982 and haban blade today and put my restored IH blade on the 682.

ACecil 11-18-2014 09:59 AM

Thanks Diz and Todd!

Diz, we'll be putting the blade on the 782 soon also. :beerchug:

Todd, it's only going to be 38 degrees here today. Will be in the teens for a low tonight. That's pretty cold for here this time of year.

Sam Mac 11-18-2014 10:49 AM

Appreciate it, guys!

J-Mech 11-22-2014 08:15 PM

Nice pics guys!

Well, got warm today and the rest of the snow melted..... so pulled the 1050 out and mowed the yard one last time. Also mowed off the garden. Along with a host of other pre-winter duties, also pulled the CC-42 thrower out and put it on the 125 so I can take it to the shop to rebuild it. I bought it with the 125 and it hasn't been on any machine for who know how long. Rotor is stuck, or the gearbox... anyway headed in to get rebuilt. No pics today as it was windy, and I just wanted to get done.

Diz Jr. 11-23-2014 05:25 PM

I got the 450 blower mounted on my 1572 Sunday. All ready for the snow and it's going to be 60 today. Go figure.

Something tells me that's how this winter is going to go; snow one day then 60 the next. No fun!! :biggrin2: If it keeps up like this, you won't need that snow moving animal

I hope not. This is the first time I've had the 450 blower on the 1572 and I want to see how it handles the snow.

123 Project 11-24-2014 06:13 PM

Enjoyed its reliability

If the Serf didn't have a special spot in my memory it would be on the lawn with a for sale sign on it..

Felt a little guilty not getting the FEL 123 out when the neighbor was loading leaves in his truck but after watching him run them over with a lawn mower in the road I walked away... perfectly good piles turned in to a pulverized mess...

Also sprayed some more penetrating oil on the stuck broken exhaust valve of the 127. My boy says when is that tractor going to start? :beerchug:
