You all sure have some nice tractors, I like every one of them...each has it's own bit of character. I'm a sucker for these machines, so much that I'm picking up a another toy tomorrow that I absolutely don't need :biggrin2:
A couple minutes ago I was out farting around with my other red Cub...not throwing anything, just putting around ;) Also a pic of my lovely wife at the helm of the 782D :drool2: And a pic of what showed up in the mail a couple days ago. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps152bc418.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...psdd412351.jpg http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...ps8c6d8ee1.jpg |

I finished putting the weights and chains on the 2082 today, ready for what ever happens now. Yeah, the walk behind blower is a Cub Cadet too, what else!
:beer2: |
That's a big blower on the 2082 :beerchug:
Looks great  |

The weather man says we are going to get some of that later here also.
Keep our fingers crossed, maybe it will turn to snow and you can get the 2082 out after all :biggrin2: And i will be out on the 149 with the blade :beerchug: |

Really odd weather this year... 45 to 50 degrees here the past few days, no precipitation, but I can't tell if it's partly cloudy or partly sunny. Maybe the weather man will tell me tonight. |
Got Wood!!
Fixed my flat on the cheapo trailer. The tire had a thin spot that I could see through, had a pinhole in the tube. Put a brand new Sawtooth that I got with my 2nd 102 on. One day I will swap the other one.
Got the 3rd load of wood delivered today. The ground is still very soft so he dropped it in the driveway. The Super was in need of some seat time and did a good job of not tearing up the turf. I fear that may change once the Tru Powers are on it. Sorry, I didn't have the camera for a pic of the pile before, but it was a truck cord unloaded in 5 minutes. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-6...120_151947.jpg Got new fuel guages for the Super and 782. $13.98 ea. shipped from epay. :beerchug: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-v...120_152127.jpg |

But dang, I gotta say; those IH weights look tiny on that big ol' Super!! If the rims were any bigger you could slide the weights inside them! :biggrin2: |
Looking good guys,
Travis, does that gauge go to the bottom of the tank? |
Thanks Ryan and Lew!:beerchug:
Lew, it's 9" long. I measured the tank, it's 10" deep and gets skinny at the bottom. I'd say it's close enough. I don't have an OE one to measure since I gave the 1811 away. The seller is things2sell2you. Seems to work good so far. |
Some snow
Woke up to 3 inches of wet wet wet snow. It was raining at 6:00 this morning when I figured I better get out there and move the stuff before it becomes all slush.
Had to keep the blade straight because the front was too light for this heavy stuff. It just pushed me sideways. Very impressed with just how much weight Tug can push down the driveway. The snow was bunching up and packing together about 6 feet in front of me, as well as filling the plow. Glad I got out there when I did. It's a slushy mess at this point. The late waking neighbors are going to have a tough go of it with shovel and snowblower. |
The weather man says we are going to get snow this weekend, but so far nothing.

Brother and I soldered the fuel tank on our 125. Where it was joined together had a small separation in it. We sealed it right up!

Glad to hear you got the fuel tank repaired CSXengr

Just a little clean up after the Blizzard that wasn't!
|
Beats doing a clean up after the blizzard that was or could have been. :beerchug:
|
I came home from Daytona for this! My plane was the last one to land before they shut the airport. I did get some seat time on the CC, first outing for the 2082 with the blower attached, did a decent job once I got it dialed in.
|
I got the 782 out and put on my new step pads (Xtreme), SH drawbar (Jeff in PA), and spinner. Then just got a little mud on the tires!:biggrin2:
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-A...204_163604.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-J...204_163242.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-A...204_163142.jpg Some other presents showed up on the Brown truck the other day too! :biggrin2: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-g...204_163315.jpg Friday I'm heading to Galax to pick up some other goodies! :beerchug: |
Power washed the new 128. Then painted the muffler and foot rest on the 125. With some time left I re-built the PTO. Will be ordering a bearing from Chris, that thing could not have worked in a long time! I am hoping the brown truck brings me some needed parts tomorrow.

Plowing snow with 3205
Got to use the 3205 with hydraulic lift & BOTH wheel weights on today. Used a cpl times with only one weight & both chains. Made a noticeable difference. The diff lock helps too going uphill. If I had the motivation I'd also fill the rear tires with washer fluid. I'm liking that it takes 1/3 the time & engery than the power drive two stage blower. The plow makes quick work of it!
|
Diagnosed a failed ignition switch in the middle of the driveway, buried in snow. I guess I'll finish plowing when the mailman shows up.

I got the 982 out and just had to let it enjoy some sunshine since it was abnormally 50 degrees this past weekend.

Some pictures from the blizzard a couple weeks ago. We got some where around 18 inches (drifts up to 4+ feet).
This was taken at 8PM on the night when the storm started. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps5e53b52e.jpg This was taken at 8AM the next morning. It continued snowing heavily for 4 - 5 more hours. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps911b755a.jpg Drift on the back slider. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps32a7efd2.jpg Drift at the garage door. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps76d9ed9a.jpg The back patio (the sliding door is up 4 steps from the patio). http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps86a6a4f9.jpg Getting some seat time. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...psc0749e55.jpg There's a driveway under there somewhere. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps86d1d525.jpg |

That's a lot of snow, Great pictures  |
Thanks Diz. Fortunately it was a very light and fluffy snow so it blew and shoveled easily. But after a while it was piled so high that it became tough to throw over the piles.

If you didn't see the links in the other thread of the 1864 yesterday here they are again. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v...27502151302395 https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v...27486613407350 Today I got the 782 out to clean up before it refreezes. The ags definately need to be loaded!! Temporarily I put the weight box with a 100# lead weight on the hitch. It helps but chains are the best! Here are a few pics form today. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-_...222_154555.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-G...222_160339.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-7...222_161848.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-w...222_154627.jpg |
Seat time in the snow
Plowed the new 6" snow on top of what was here in Sw Ohio w/ 3205. Has 54" hydraulic plow and 100# wheel weights/ chains. I didn't realize how low air was in lft rear tire and spun it off the rim :( I finished up with my trusty 1972 WIZZARD two stage blower. It's a beast! Afterwards I got the chain off which was wrapped around inside axle and inflated tire finally. It almost sounded like a blowout when it popped back onto the rim. Put chain back on and tested doing some touch up on 100' drive. Works much better with air in the tire :) A neighbor few doors up had his craftsman out w/ 42" mechanical blade, no weights or chains. It was a sad sight. Not sure how he made it 50 ft from house before being stuck for good. I went and asked him if I could help him get it back to house, but declined since he had retrieved rear wheel cables that I guess we're supposed to be like chains. Still stuck after moving a few inches, I offered help again, but declined. He had to shovel a path to get back to his house.
The 3205 had very little trouble, even going up a fairly steep hill. :) The differential lock was invaluable! |
got 4 inches of fluffy stuff today heres a little video
