Cleaned up my 50" deck from the 1650 to put away for the year.
Yah, I know it's still mowing season, but with the super and 60" Haban, I won't be using it.
Wire brushed the bottom and brushed on some used Hy-Tran. Took the cover off and cleaned out all the debris. Installed some new deck wheels:beerchug:

Yep why use the little deck when you have a "Big Deck", the women love a big deck. :biggrin2:

I'm gonna get banned any minute now. :ROTF1::ROTF2:

darkminion_17 06-11-2015 08:53 PM

It's not the size of the deck ,it's how you use it.

Today I used the 1641 to cut some grass.
Those loaded tires come in handy on the hills.

RR1862CC 06-13-2015 10:52 PM

I finished the engine build for the 1862 today then pressure washed the old engine and tractor frame getting ready to pull the old one out.
Now that I finished this engine Monday I will start building the M18 for the 1811. My son and I finished stripping the frame today getting it ready to sand blast this week.
Building one engine at work, two M18s at home plus a 350 and 489 Chevy at home has me overloaded. I think I am going fishing after church tomorrow and not even look at a wrench!

Cub123 are you sure that tractor had enough power and traction for that planter? Talk about overkill! :biggrin2:

Looks great, heck I'd say good enough to be POTW! :beerchug:

Seemed to have plenty of power:biggrin2: It actually worked better in the freshly tilled garden than the NF, it floated on the soft dirt rather than sinking and wandering around. You really want me to submit for POTW AGAIN?!? LOL

Lol, yeah this week looks like 60% chance of rain until Monday, may never get the hay done, but the garden will have water. I didn't really plan to plant this late, but we ended up moving our vegetables out of this garden, so I got some cheap corn to plant so we could feed it to our horses.

Grass Cut and Weeds Sprayed

Got the grass cut today after giving it a few days to dry up. Got 6 inches of rain here in 3 days, needless to say the yard was a bit squishy.

After grass cutting and trimming, hooked up the homemade sprayer and killed some weeds with Par3. Good stuff!

Garden at the back is coming along. Garlic is almost ready for picking.

Wow, your garden is doing a lot better than ours is! We can't keep up with the weeds and rain we've been having. I need to get some grass clippings down to help with the problem.

Anywho, great pics, thanks for sharing!

Nice pictures. :beerchug:

I miss seeing green grass, with temperatures close to 100 in June and little rain all the fescue turned brown down here. At least the neighbors have weeds to keep theirs a little green but I killed all of mine :biggrin2:. Maybe the somewhat cooler temps we've been having lately will bring it back to life.

Had both my toys out playing today mowed with the blue ( I know not a cub but couldn't beat the price) and knocked down the open areas of the garden with the tiller.

I thought so too when I saw the picture. It gave me an idea for an winter cab using a top and windshield from a golf cart (I have a couple in the shed) and an inexpensive fabric golf cart enclosure. wouldn't be 100% weather tight but it might keep me from getting a face full of snow when the wind shifts while using the blower.
