Got some more work done on the 3-point for my 126. I'll try to get the lower bracket made tomorrow and finish welding the top link.

Agreed! Very nice work.

I got the super out and moved some crusty sleet and snow. Love the new filled tires and the cab!

Because the PO installed a drain and vent in the aluminum rear end I could not use a typical hitch. I never welded before but got a lesson from a friend and think it turned out OK. It attaches to the frame and is made with 3/8 inch stock.

weaverama, That looks really good, but you might want to tie it into the sides of the tranny case like I have marked. This will take some of the strain off the frame itself also...

Adam, that 3 point is Awesome looking, Looks great in bare metal, don't paint it, just clear coat it:biggrin2.gif:

weaverama, nice work and I'm no expert but what JayBrd's saying makes sense.

Well I "worked" on the Original today for 3-4 hours. Replaced s/g, voltage regulator and most of the wiring as I was frying headlights and now all is good:biggrin2.gif:. Then went out to plow driveway and one of the chains broke so it was back into the shop. Was going to put another set on and then had the bright idea to put the ags that I just got on, what a mistake that was:bash2:. I didn't have chains on them and thought they might do ok, lol, they spun like crazy and I had virtually no traction!! So it was back into the shop and instead of just replacing broken chain on original wheel, I took the wheels off the 71 and mounted them on the O', they have 2 sets of weights on each wheel and the chains were setup much better and wow, they work alot better than just having one set of weights on!

Can't run chains on the ags either, not on the Original anyway, they'll hit the fenders.
