Got some seat time today. Took 121 for a ride, and killed some grass with Jenn's 2130. :beerchug:

Glad you got some seat time today Allen, X-2:beerchug:
If you're cutting grass, and it's only that long, you'd be cutting every other day here...:bigthink: :biggrin2:

ACecil 04-08-2017 11:53 PM

Thanks Todd! Some spots were pretty high...Lol.:beerchug:

This was last summer, but I just found this picture of the 1210, clearing brush, and mowing the lot before starting on the new house.

I took the 1882 out to the back shed and dropped the 450 blower off then gave her a quick bath. Time to get ready for grass duty. The yellow paint is all original, plastic is some decent used stuff I found. She does't look too bad for a 26 year old tractor!

ACecil 04-12-2017 10:35 PM

Nice looking super!

Looks darn good for 26 years old.:beerchug: But just wait till it's, oh, 56 years old or so...:biggrin2::bigthink:

I got to get out on the dual stick 1650 today and do some driveway maintenance. That hydraulic swivel sure makes moving gravel around much easier.:beerchug:

Power angle is great. So Todd, what's under the cover behind you?

The power angle is the ticket, but the 54" is harder to level with than the 42", but it worked.
56 BelAir.

Finally putting a deck on. Lawn is getting close. New blades and deck belt for the Haban 325. I put a new PTO side crank seal in this 2284 late last summer and have yet to put the front end back together. Yup, it's on the "to do" list. Which takes a back seat to the "Honey do" list. :BlahBlah::BlahBlah::BlahBlah:

Yep that is a tough one, 4 bolts. Takes all of 15 minutes to do it. Slacker, LMAO.

Sam Mac 04-15-2017 02:41 PM

Mowed the lawn, just got done blowing the grass off the tractor as a storm blew through. :biggrin2:

ACecil 04-15-2017 11:46 PM

Sounds like you got done just in time, Sam.

Good work Steve.:beerchug:
That "Honey do list" can wait, the grass will be waist high by the time you get that list finished.:biggrin2:

What I did With my Cub Today

I hope I have this in the right area. I haven't done much posting yet. This was actually a few days ago. I was in hurry for Spring to get here so I hooked up my tiller and attacked the remains of the snow banking I had piled up over the winter. A while ago a few members posted pictures of their older F150 Fords. The '94 in the back ground is my daily driver.

Sam Mac 04-16-2017 06:41 PM

That's a different way to get rid of snow, I like it. :beerchug:

zippy1 04-16-2017 06:48 PM

Pressure washed the tiller today, change oil and get it running tomorrow.:bigthink:

Joel, great idea!

Todd, so let me get this straight. You washed the tiller, so you can get it dirty again?:biggrin2::beerchug:

Myla and I finished mowin the grass for the 4th time this year. Put about 5 hours in on it this weekend. First mow of the Xmas tree field. :beerchug: to wash all the pollen down!:beer2:

No, well sort of. I've never had it running, and it was covered with how many years of gunk. It came with the 1811 I picked up last year, and I just want to start with a clean machine...
Going on the 782.:beerchug:

samckitt 04-17-2017 08:09 AM

I chased down an oil leak yesterday, determined it was the oil pressure switch. looked for one locally, but no luck, so put a pipe plug in it until I can get to the Cub Cadet dealer.

Grapejuice 04-18-2017 12:57 AM

Went to start my cub 2135 series and the ignition key and barrel fell to bits. :bash2:
So I've decided to rewire the whole lot make separate light switch for the front head lights and have a set of rear working lights. New bonnet/hood.

ken6x6 04-18-2017 01:30 AM

Thanks Todd!
