Had to kill some slightly damp grass this afternoon with the 1864. Took it for a ride to the pond before I put it away. Knocked a few weeds down on the dam too.:beerchug:

Nice 1864, Travis! I bet it's a great machine.
|
Lights on for safety Travis? Never know what's coming through the woods.:biggrin2: One eyed grass eater looks good.:beerchug:

After returning from the zoo yesterday I was able to get the grass mowed, the 1211 was working hard in the backyard because the grass was as tall as the tires and a little damp since it was late in the evening. I will give it a couple days and hit it again and it should look real nice. Sorry no pics, maybe next time.

Mounted up the Haban to the "2372".:beerchug: Greased and new blades installed. Should be flinging grass clippings next week.

Wasn't raining when I got home. Made a mad dash for the mower to get the grass cut before the next rain. Got some help from the boy. He turns 4 in a week. He has already claimed all of my tractors. Says I have to get my own....:bigthink
That's an Eastern Red Bud tree in the one photo. The grass was mostly dry. The ground was damp. And of course it started to sprinkle 5 minutes before I was done. But it is done. Rain and snow flurries in the forcast for the next 3 days. |
Good job Steve.:beerchug:
I had the 2372 out this afternoon for the first grass clipping of the year. 2 1/2 hours later, we're done for a few days...:beerchug: |
I mowed the lawn, put the tin on my 982, and added a 3 point to my 100. Unfortunately the grass is always wet around here this year and still needs mowing. Took the picture before some much needed cleaning.

Finished reassembling my 1864, I've had the engine out and put new seals and gaskets, and I had the rear out and replaced seals and gaskets, and pressure sprayed the whole frame clean. Not all in one day of course.

Hey guys! I had some time this weekend for a project I've been thinking about for a while. I have to put in some food plots at my lease and needed some mounts along with spraying weeds at my house. Here's what I came up with.
http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...psb67pdblb.jpg http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...psnxefw515.jpg http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...psgfvjgmic.jpg http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...psxwl9xwx9.jpg http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps6ljjbq8g.jpg I did have to reinforce the framework where the hitch attaches and it's rock solid with me standing on it now. I also didn't want the exhaust to melt the tank, so I found a heatshield to mount. I figure that I got two benefits. 1) I can leave my tiller on and still have the sprayer, and 2) the sprayer can be filled and be weight while tilling. I can also mount the sprayer on the hitch of my Durango to spray Roundup for food plots and drive it to my lease. |

Bought this last week and gave it a good service. I'm 2nd owner and the guy says it's a 1811. However it has hydro hookups on the front. According to tractor data the serial number doesn't match either. It's higher than listed. Anyone have an idea about this?

Serviced my 80 year old uncles 2206 today. Good amount of clippings on the top of the deck, as well as the bottom.:bigthink:
Never had the "privilege" of working on one of these models before. Wouldn't trade five brand new ones for one of anything I have in my stable...:biggrin2: |
Plowed the garden today with new plow amd sleeve hitch.
