I declare winter is over here. I took the blower off the 2284 yesterday. But it’s 22 degrees and windy this morning.

Got some cool pics of 121 in front of our Azalea in full bloom.

Finally got around to servicing the 1782 today.. I usually try to do it at the end of the season but things got in the way.
Sharpened the blades, straightened up one of the casters on the Haban, changed the oil and filter, fuel filters, new air filter, greased everything up. should be good to go for the year I hope!:beerchug: |

Thanks... I also had my newly rebuilt 1641 out breaking in the engine rebuild.
Attachment 92519 Now my wife says she likes the 1641 with the 44c deck cut better than the "1884" with the GT54 deck... :bash2: |

It's so awesome to see you home and tinkering in the shop again!!:beerchug: What kind of bumper is that?:bigthink: Or is that something to do with the blade? |
Dang Todd, that sure is nice. When came I come pick it up?

I made the bumper a couple years ago. Old mule drive, and a piece of pipe.:beerchug: Quote:

I got the Viking out for the first mow of the season, the ole 784 fired right up after sitting all winter and ran great the whole time I mowed. The grass was wet and well over a foot tall in some spots but the kt17 just laughed at it. It's supposed to rain all day tomorrow but be real nice on Wednesday so I'm hoping to mow again then which should have the yard looking real nice. The 1211 got used as a tow truck again, I'm planning to pick up some steel later in the week to make some attachments for it and I think one of them is going to be something that allows me to lift tractors by the front axle and move them around.

Master of Lew, you be riding in style with that cushy mower. Armrests and all.:beerchug: Nancy rode around on the 782 again today. This time sweeping with the Agri-Fab. Should be cutting next week... |

I can only hope that my lawn looks that nice one day..... |
The tall building to the left in the first picture is a water tower. There is a large cypress water tank on the third level that used to provide domestic water and feed a fire suppression sprinkler system for the large home that used to be on the property. The building on the right is a carriage house with one box stall and 6 straight stalls. I restored that building about 10 years ago.
The building in the second picture is called the Gas House. It originally housed an acetylene collector to provide gas for lighting throughout all buildings (think carbide lamp). I formed and poured a new foundation for it and had it moved to its current location. I am restoring the building now. All these buildings were built in 1892. The property was abandoned in the '70's and vandals burned the house in the late 80's. Thanks for the comments.:beerchug: |

Nice pics guys. I’ll bet there’s not very many guys pulling a moldboard plow with a modern Cub.
I added rear hydraulic remotes to my 129 to run my dump trailer. Teed into the lift cylinder lines and ran hoses to the back. The lift cylinder got new hoses too as one was seeping and I was afraid they might burst since I raised the pressure to 800 PSI. The factory hoses were simply rubber hose with no wire layer. A bracket holds the couplers using existing holes in the frame. |
