There may be room, but I won't find out for sure unless is breaks again. I should be tilling some food plots over labor day. If you don't hear from me, the weld held up :biggrin2:

I've been using it in places I normally use a bigger machine just to see if it's a keeper. It is running real happy. It was a good find. Thanks

982 & tiller were back at the lease for some more tilling. Cut the buckwheat I planted earlier this summer and let it sit for 2 weeks then lightly (highest setting) tilled up the topsoil to plant my fall food plots. It's a mix of grain rye, buckwheat, Austrian peas and some turnips. Got everything planted on Saturday and got some good rain Sunday evening so I'm hoping for good germination. The rear pto held up great. Having the tractor & tiller for these plots is a game changer, along with the Kubota and brush hog. Lots of cutting on Sunday.

I used my 147 to fix a couple spots on our road that washed out.

ACecil 09-04-2019 08:50 PM

Great pics, guys!

I used the 1512 to haul bottled water to prepare for Dorian. :biggrin2:

New decal/grass cut

I actually cut grass with my 1812 today (what little grass that was growing) and then installed this new decal on the back of the seat. What do you think?

Snider1812 10-05-2019 04:23 PM

Hey Allen. Where did you get your bumper for your 1512?

I used my 1450 to haul some leaves out of the front yard and driveway, and into the woods.

ACecil 10-13-2019 09:56 PM

Put this in the wrong section earlier.

Leaf season is in full swing in NC! Here's a pic from last weekend's action. Will be at it again this coming weekend.:beerchug:

Dug out my O for the first time in a long time and used it to get some things done in preparation for winter. Also got to use the cart I picked up last week. This makes my 3rd but definitely my favorite.
I'm gonna need to show some love to the O soon. Need to get my new carb installed and see whats rattling around in the clutch

gdheck 11-02-2019 08:38 PM

I just did some snow plowing, some with a 60" deck, some with a 50"deck and once I parked those two in the tent for Winter I did some plowing with my plow tractor and 54" power angle blade. The blade works the best.

Good to hear, how do you plow with a deck?

It's real easy, drive a tractor with a mower deck on it through the snow. If the snow is higher than the bottom of the mower deck - then you are plowing.

I had the decks raised as high as they would go but they still made their mark, especially the wheels.

I don't like winter either Sam! :bash2::bash2: At least we don't have the snow to deal with down here!!:biggrin2:

Leaves!

Did some leaf chewing today.

sorner 11-29-2019 09:18 PM

I don't think I'll need it for this storm, but I took the deck off the 1912 and cleaned it up and put it away for the winter, and put the blower and chains on.

I plowed snow for the first time this year with my 147. We did not get nearly as much as they were calling for, but may get a few more inches during the day.

Looks like you are lacking in the frost department!
Shure makes a mess that way, Huh?
We are in the same boat here, no frost yet to amount to anything.
Farmers are still chisel plowing yet.

Yea, most of the driveway I spent all summer making nice is now in the front yard. It also doesn’t help that it rained most of yesterday.

Put the 1512 to work today. Almost have the leaves done.

A few weeks ago we got a skid steer to fix some spots on our private road. It all turned out good except one spot were water was running out into the road and freezing. Since it was warm today (and muddy) me and my dad took my 147 and 1450 out and dug the ditch out better so the water runs off.

ACecil 12-28-2019 08:43 PM

finsruskw 01-19-2020 09:13 AM

We did the same around here yesterday with the 882 and 1200 before it got to cold. Woke up this AM to zero temps with more below on the way for tonight and tomorrow.

The 2015 lawn tractor battery in the 1641 was on it's last legs so I splurged and bought a new $22 Walmart cheapo for it.
The forecast in North GA was for flurries overnight, We woke up to the first measurable snowfall of the year.
