I picked up my K301 AQS from the machine shop today and I'm not going to get a chance to get it in the 1200 before the SC plow day.:crap: The head got .010 milled off to make the head flat. They guy said it really needed it. It had acouple of spots where it was wavy in the gasket area.:bash2: It looks great now and I can't wait to get it reassembled and in the 1200.:beer2: I don't have any pics of the engine yet. I'll get some before and after I repaint the block.

Just for fun, you might want to stick that head on a sheet of glass and try to get a 0.001" feeler gauge under it. I've removed numerous heads from tractors that were 'milled flat' that were definitely not flat.

I should have my 12hp block crank and head back from the machine shop @ Tuesday next week. Can't wait to get started on it. I have got to get all the governor stuff so I am not sitting here twiddling my thumbs when it gets back, LOL.

All Judes Fault!

well after watching the vid of judes 147 and back blade i couldnt resist. so today after school i dug out a brinly hitch, brinly blade, and 1 set of weights and bolted em to the 169. it would look alot better with a factory blade but the brinly works. now just waiting for the driveway to melt and i can play lol
