That's a sweet find there!

I got the 100 fixed yesterday! Todd and Jude both gave me great phone tech support. The green wire that goes from the key switch to the volt reg. was broken and the black wire to the coil was about broke (2 strains holding it on). So once I got fixed it fired right up! The throttle cable on the 1200 broke so not going to mess with it until I put the new engine in.

Got a call from my wife to call her uncle. It seems if I can help him find a new mower he's wiling to let his other cubs go! He has 1862 and 1872! I've been wanting that 1872 for years! So off to find him a replacement mower so I can go pick up a super! I hope it works out.:biggrin2:

It'll work out, Duke!

Dude you're killing me! :biggrin2: I can't find one for less than and arm and two legs, and I am already missing a half of a finger so that screws it up even more! Nice score though!!:biggrin2:

I got time to pull the thrower off and change the oil and filter on the 682 this last weekend. I may toss on the front blade with all the nasty talk of more snow this week yet..:bash2:

working the mulch pile with my 1710/craftsmen jonny bucket/adapted to Cub!
Was tired from plow day, but Brother in-law, let me run my wide frame to work a mulch pile! Nice little low budget loader, had a ball even though was tired from plowing 12 acres with the dudes! John has sweet mini farm/grape arbors/berry plants!

today I pulled my transmission assembly and I will be having a freind install a set of 16/18 pulling gears in the next couple of days.

I pulled my fuel tank and drained all of the 110 racing fuel.

I redrilled my main jet and needle seat out for methanol.

Adjusted my timing a little past .028

Boy does this thing turn up fast now.

Can not wait for my LP head to arrive so I can get the threads fixed and install it.

It was a great day outside, so before I get into mowing and using the 782 on a regular basis, I knew I needed to change the oil, filter and airfilter.

Wow, I wasn't aware how intense that was going to be, LOL. I was able tho to get the oil filter changed, the air filter cleaned and the pre filter cleaned and re-oiled. While I had everything pretty much apart, I really needed to check out the starter, as it had been squealing, and sticking at times while starting the motor. Believe it or not, removing the starter was a lot easier than dealing with the oil filter, LOL. I got the starter removed, took it apart, cleaned and lubed it and it is working like a brand new one. A fairly good day of maintenance and now I am ready for plowing and mowing. Oh also replace plugs with some new autolite 26's.
