Got into the 124 tonight. Pulled the head and found a little carbon buildup:bigeyes:. Looks like there was a little blow by so I'll need to address that. Any recommendations for the valves?? I'll get it'll all cleaned up and see what they look like. It was running good so I don't want to dismantle any more of it. Also took the rear apart some more, pulled axle seals, bushings look to be in very good shape. Will need to clean out gear box as its got some crud in the bottom of it, but looks good otherwise:biggrin2: Pulled brake pads and now just need to start ordering new parts. Was hoping to sell this tractor when I'm done with it, but I don't know:Huh:

Put the Ag tires on the 149 today. Then I assembled the new Agri Fab broadcast spreader, which I'll be using very shortly. I also bought an aerator to use on the lawn and cancelled my annual lawn fertilizer contract. I'll be bringing in some loads of topsoil soon too, and will have fun moving it around. Can't wait! :beer2:

I didn't work on them today, spent most of the day at the auction. Came home empty handed. Had some nice Cubs, probably 20 o 25 nice cubs. And at least 200 garden tractors. Little cold but it was fun. Passed up on an IH built 682 it was pretty rough and went for $375. Oh well maybe next time. I did find a deal on a set of cub rims with factory Firestone turfs on them for 20 bucks on CL though, going to pick them up in the morning.:biggrin2: |
