Looks like with the warmer weather, everyone is getting in some needed cub time...band aid time...heheheh

I took the 582 clutch apart today, the drive shaft is in very good condition.I had the clutch disc trued up and got all the pieces together for reassembly.
Tomorrow is another day...

I think I would have upgraded the spring. that seems to be the biggest weak point on those clutches. I bet a aftermarket stronger spring was cheaper too.

In case you do want to upgrade the spring, he is the part numbers for a blue spring. not sure what the pressure rating is though. New Holland (part # PECP1511A1) or AGCO (part # EP1511)

The cub spring was a freebie,I think I have a used red spring around somewhere.
under edit,
Thanks AJ for the #s on the springs!!

got the yard rolled again after another fun week of tearing it up with the Honda big red and the new Honda 250SX three wheelers. the 102 usually does this job but for some odd reason it quit on me so i pushed it into the garage and robbed the battery from it. its sat for about 3 weeks now. i unhooked the tiller from the 122 and put the hitch on it and rolled the yard with the 122. good thing i did. the AG tread tires made a difference. after, i hooked up the chisel plow and dug out some of the crap from the ditch so the culvert would drain properly. shoveled it all into a wagon pulled by the Sears 14-6 and hauled it all to the hedgerow. the 122 is running awesome. clutch slips horrible though. good thing i got a nice rebuilt replacement!!!:biggrin2::biggrin2: just need the ambition to put it in though...:BangPC:
