I got quite a bit done today. For those who don't know, I'm currently rebuilding a 782. Today I finally got a engine in it and running. It's my verticle to horizontal converted M20. It had a bad oil leak, but it looks like thrid times a charm on the oil seals! No leaks. I'll probably end up putting a kt17 II in it though. I can't put a PTO on the M20. I also loaded it up and took it to where I work and got the trunion repaired. I started putting the sheet metal on it, but realized I don't have all the new bolts for it I need. So hopefully in a day to two, I'll get pics of it finished.

Oh yeah, I also got a lead on the elusive 582 Special that I've been looking for. I hope to go pick it up next weekend.

I re-arranged my vehicles and tractors to open my woodshop up for a few projects. The 1862 has been used for snow duty, so she was easy. I plan on taking the blower off this week, changing the oil and Hytran. The 982 needed the battery charged, but she fired right up. I'll be getting the tiller installed and hope for dry weather so I can prep the garden. The 70 got pushed over to the other garage also since the drivetrain is out. I need to remove the PTO so I need to do some research and get on that. The bad: When I fired up my 70 Chevelle to move, she started fine, but I heard a pop as I was backing out. I looked on the ground and saw the evil green liquid. Parked her in her normal stall and checked out everything from above. All the radiator hoses and water pump were fine. Checked the freeze plugs and found one laying on the drivers side motor mount:angry: Oh well, I'll have a little project coming up on it also.

Well I've been working on rebuilding the carb on the 127 for about a week now... mainly waiting on parts. I got the carb in and adjusted to factory settings and the 127 purred right to life. I've got a quick vid posted on my youtube for those that are subscribers. Not much too it, just a lap around the yard from the drivers seat.

Decided to pull the 128 front axle off today and clean out all the old grease and make sure everything was ok. The axle pin looked good, the axle fit good and tight with no wobble. Also decided to use some rubbing compound and wax on the outside of the frame.

Transmission now nice and clean underneath.

Engine shroud cleaned and waxed. No painting done to it. Was very greasy and dirty.

Nice job DX3!

I took the 1811 out again and mowed the yard next door. It was pretty much abandoned so the yard was getting pretty tall. It mowed that grass like a champ! Kinda ready to see what it will do when the grass gets taller than the hood now! :biggrin2:

Fiddled with the 123. Still has grimlin lurking in the wires somewhere, oh well i dont mind starting it with a mutulated screw driver, for now but realy want to get that fixed before i do cause damage. Sorry i didnt take any pics. I was having too much fun with the seat time i got! :beerchug:

Gorgeous day here again. Decided to hook up the 5x8 trailer to the 782 and did pick up twig day. I love willow trees, but they shed like a dog, Oh my aching back. lol. Got a heck of a nice bonfire going this evening with them. Nope, no pics. Sorry guys. Now if the garden spot will dry out I will be able to disc it.
