The 982 does not have that slot in it. I think that I am going to look at one of my buddy's tractors to see how this is hooked up and copy it. I will find an old cowl and slot it out .........don't want to cut up an of the original 982 parts........I'd get kicked off of the site for a crime like that LOL

I got the deck leveled out last night and cut grass with it today and it was a huge improvement.

Still getting to learn this tractor and how it all works etc...........but I know tha this is one manly MACHINE and I will keep it forever...it really is awesome.

Oh and by the way......something to be said for when guys on here bust your chops for not posting pics, many things that their experienced eyes will catch and point out to you that you may not be able to give in a description.........thanks guys......really.
