Oak, I looked into A.C. units. I'm in the "dealer network" for an aftermarket A.C. company. I can get a new roof mount A.C. unit for $925. Only problem is.... it takes 33 amps to run. You'd have to add an alternator. But, I really don't think that is a big deal. I may even add one to this 1811 because I think I'm going to put an electric heater in it. Plan to add a pulley between the motor and driveshaft coupler (just like on the "K" series for the add on hydraulic pump for the NF's) and put a 60 amp single wire self exciting alternator on. Overall cost for AC I think would be justified if you use the tractor a lot in the summer. Beats the heck out of $35K for a small cab tractor!!!

AC on a Cub? This is my answer to cooling off when I get hot mowing in the summer. Just had to bust. :biggrin2:

Although I would love to add AC just to say I did, I'm not spending $1000 on an A.C. kit for that tractor...... unless I find a way to use it more.... :bigthink:
