I was just out again and pull the battery so we will see if that works but while I was out there I tried my Dixon which is older than me and my 1282 and both started just fine. So I'm thinking its time for a repower.

I use a Zoom Spout bottle with some 2-stroke mix in it for starting fluid.
Sounds like you need a jump start. Hook the cables up to something that runs and let it charge the battery for about five minutes before you try to start your dead Cub. When I was a kid, I once had to pour a quart of hot oil into the crankcase of my Chevy PU to get it to start. PeterJ |

Did you manage to get this thing running? :bigthink: |
I got it running with the battery out of the explorer but it was still a pain to start. I also have it stuck in the backyard lol.

Unless they are stuck on ice. |
It's from lack of weight and chains lol. It will get out at some point.

Here's the deal. Put weights and chains on. Absolutely necessary with a blower. Before the next storm put it in the garage even if mommy's car has to stay outside. Get a heater and a battery tender. If the tractor won't run or it's stuck in a snow drift it's not doing anyone any good and mommy or you can't get out anyway. Priorities man. I've done my good deed for the day. :biggrin2: |
