Thanks guys!! My son Bryan and I pretty excited about it, best of all he is excited about Cub Cadets! My Grandson, his son who is 2 1/2, is also nuts about tractors. I have missed doing tractor stuff since my Dad passed, so I am looking forward to the future!

I have a new ignition switch ordered and as soon as we get the steering fixed, we will get it to the carwash to clean up and hopefully get it running.

Randy,
It's great that you have three generations involved on this one!:beerchug:
I have played with Cub Cadets since the 1970's. I had my step son interested in them until he was about 14. He is now 16 and want's nothing to do with me or the tractors... I guess it's the age.:bash2:

So it's back to me and Dad.... I have often wondered if I will still find the joy in these little machines after my Dad is gone?:bigthink:

I sure hope so... but I just don't know how much fun Cubbin will be without someone to share it with!:bigthink:

You have a great project going here... it's gonna be nice! Keep us posted!!:beerchug::beerchug:

Its not as much fun for sure, I really haven't done a lot since my Dad passed 9 years ago. But my Son is 19 now and he isn't as hard core as I am, but I am happy to be working on my cubs again!

I am 51 and starting to think about what I want to get done be the time I retire and can really do a lot of shows.

I have consecutive serial number OCC's and hope to have them both done by the next Red Power thats close enough for me to go.

I think I have seen your consecutive numbered originals on here before! That has to be very unusual!:beerchug: They would definitely be a hit at any show! I wonder if anyone else has a pair like that?:bigthink:

Not sure if anyone else has them. I haven't seen them. I bought them 30 miles and 5 years apart. Already paid for it and had it on the trailer before I looked at the numbers. Good thing too, it would have cost me a lot more!! I painted up the first one and when I got the second one mostly painted, the color was way off and I got mad and let it sit for awhile. Then Dad died, (they were his) and it has sit since. I am back in the mood now. :beerchug:

Here is the first one. It was painted about 13 or 14 years ago and this pic was from last summer.
