Tim, do you have a 782 yet?

Yea, I have "The Viking" :biggrin2:

Actually it's a 784.

Looking funny Tim, are your bringing that to plow day?

No. It has a series 1 and it's ugly.

Tim, put some green paint on the hood and slap a couple "John Massey"decals on it bring it to plow day and confuse everyone. :beer2::biggrin2:

Don't get me wrong, it's a great tractor and it runs like a top after all the work I've done on it but with a series 1 I would never use it to plow.

Just make the first pass. :biggrin2: It would probably be ok till you drop two wheels in a furrow.

I'm not sure what to do. I bought the Cub 3 point just out of opportunity because it was cheap and I thought it was for a 782, I really have no need for a lift since all it will do is mow so whatever I put on will just be for the cool factor.

I know what you should do, sell me the hitch..... I'll use it. I've got a bunch of rear implements that I need one for.

I understand your apprehension on plowing with the 782 and a Series I, but in most of the pics you guys post of plow days, the plows aren't set very deep. I really don't think it's enough tilt to damage it. I don't know if I would risk it either unless I had another motor for it....

Tim, I think Jon is saying you boys in PA don't know how to plow deep....

Not from the pics I've seen..... :biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2:

I mean, look at this:
You can see all the rim on the front tire!!

Here's how we plow in Illinois! Half the front tire in the furrow. :biggrin2::BlahBlah::BlahBlah:

Tim I'm just giving you a hard time.

Seriously..... You ought to plow with your 1050! I like plowing with mine. Except you sold me the spring assist that's on it.... hehe. Hope you have another one, LOL!
