Spot on Sarge it is just a game , and it is just a sign but in this little black ducks opinion " a step to far "
But out of this I have learnt a lot more about American football and its intricacies so thank you
What team do you support Sarge? , is it the Bears or the Cubs that are from Illinois ?

I have never Been to a Bear's Game In Chicago I went to Super Bowl XX In New Orleans a Friend I had grown Up with Invited Me Because His Father worked for the Bears I took My entire 12-Man Special Forces Team to the Game as Guest of the Bears, and we Hung out with the Team for a week Before and after the Game

Other Than That Time I only watch College Football Iowa Hawkeyes when My Grandfather was alive or Bowling Green Falcons as I have a cousin that works for the College Football team in sorts medicine, or I'll watch the Army/Navy Game spent Many Years Training Cadets at West Point In the Summer. I have the Honor of Being 1 of Two E-6 staff Sergeant to have smoked (Push Up's exercise to muscle exhaustion) the entire Crop of Cadets On the Hand Grenade Range for Not following direction. There are Generals and an Admiral or Two today That would recognize My Last name

Once the Bears Move to their New Home In Arlington Heights, IL (a few Years away) Then I'll watch a Bears Home Game. I Hate, Hate, Hate stepping foot In Chicago, The One Cub's Game I went to. They Lost to Tommy Lasorda and the Dodgers. Watched a Lot of Chicago White Sox Game's as My dad Had season tickets given to Him By a customer at His Bar/Tavern 3 rows Behind Home Plate When My cousin Played for the Montreal Expos and Cleveland Indians, I would try to get to those Games when I could. I say I am a Cubs Fan, But Baseball Is so Boring to Watch, I really don't pay attention anymore.

My Oldest Children Twins Boy and Girl Both Played Football You heard that Football In High school In the Late 1980s My daughter was a Kicker & My son was a Quarter Back My Oldest I adopted when they were 12, and I was 23 They Had actual Been My Niece and Nephew. The parents were Killed In a Mountain Climbing accident In Switzerland, so were really Not that far apart in age.

My Youngest son was a Cross country runner Like His Old Man, there is a 24-Year Gap In age between My Youngest and Oldest children. As we all say the Youngest was the smartest In sports while it was a team sport it was still Up to the Individual to do their best as One

All 3 are also Good Golfers Like Myself, even though I have Barely played in the Last 20 or so years, Only Play Golf when they are in town. Even with the age gap, they're as thick as thieves But I have Managed to Usually beat them In 18 Holes My short Game is what does them in Their Better at Making it On the Green In Par but once they get on the Green I swear they are all thumbs.

But really, I don't watch or Participate In sports anymore. Too Busy with My Garden tractor collection and My Garden and I still work Full Time (On Call 24/7 But work from home) I manage an IT support Company for a Friend of Mind we Have 80 service Techs all over the world In the Process of Hiring 40 More (we provide small & Medium Companies IT support) Companies that don't want to have their own IT personnel. We even support some scientists In Antarctica and companies In Your neck of the woods

My humble apologies "Ironman" but you either support a team called the Tractors or those logos on the bonnets are a clue that I am unable to decipher
The tractor on the rights logo looks a bit like a team called the Magpies down here but I think it is a penguin
Please supply the correct names

Sarge , sounds like your team had a sensational leader and you still enjoy your sports
As to golf I follow Mark Twains theory , A good walk spoiled by a little white ball
Any names I would recognize that you do work for down here ?

We actually do some IT support for the New Zealand Police service and we do some work for Masport Limited Mostly New Zealand is were we Have customers

Made it 7 holes with a Polish Powered Golf Ball (Green Grass colored Golf Ball)
Made the last Two Holes By dropping a new Ball at least 3 or 4 times convincing the Kids it was the same Ball on the Back 9. Daughter Played the coarse the next day and found a few of the Balls I Lost on the 17th and 18th Holes She Kept that secret from her Brothers for another 10 years Until I got caught cheating at pinochle with them One Holiday I convinced them the Jack of diamonds was the Jack or Harts for my run in hearts :ROTF2:

They used to say "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out".

Thanks for the links Ironman , we have a team down here who are based in a Steel works town and of course are called the Steelers
Ice hockey is played here as well but with so few rinks it is not widely known

A green golf ball now that would sort the sheep from the goats
But you have me tricked with Pinochle
Have seen a news clip where one player shoulder charges another and puts him through the clear screen , always wondered whether that was a foul ?
New Zealand and Australia have a very strong affinity even though they speak funny (all I are pronounced E and all E are pronounced I so sex becomes six and vice versa that aside they are a friend who live across the ditch (Tasman Sea)
