Not a spirit of 76 but it is one of the same series, it is a 383 hydro, with a different seat.

Interesting. doesn't look as strong as GT's. It is mainly a mowing tractor? (when or if it runs)

lonnyb 03-20-2009 07:46 PM

As far as I know it was not built to be a garden tractor, mainly to keep in runninig with the lower quality built lawn mowers.
I have seen photos of one with a snow blade attachment though.

This one was last used last summer (2008) but needs a good battery as the one currently in it does not hold a charge.

383s were consider a "Lawn Tractor". They were design to mow, move snow(thrower or blade), pull a small trailer, grass sweeper and a fertilizer spreader/sprayer.

Lawn Tractors cost a third to half less than their big brothers.

is it even possible to get a garden tractor anymore. not a CUT, but something that resembles the old cubs?

Not quite the same look as the old cubs but defently built to handle ground engaugeing equipment.

A 3235 25hp Kohler twin, hydrostactic drive, hydraulic 3 point.
