He sure is excited about his new bumper, BUT now I will have to paint and weld the thing and put it on for him, so his bumper is going to cost him way more than the 75 bucks plus shipping, :LMAO1:

gt383mag 03-01-2015 12:32 PM

hey guys i actually found end caps for the bumpers on ebay just wondering if you guys want them also. if so ill order some but they wont be here till sometime this week if you guys want ill wait to ship bumpers and throw them in same box let me know and ill order them they will cost me like a buck a peice but i think they will finish it off nicely

KayakDon 03-01-2015 01:53 PM

I'll wait for the caps! Let me know how much more. Don

PaulS 03-01-2015 02:55 PM

Mine can wait for the caps too.

Sam Mac 03-01-2015 03:25 PM

I'll also wait for the caps.

wm-webb 03-01-2015 04:25 PM

Is a version #2 with a taller top bar possible? Our trees are taller in Illinois. :biggrin2:

jimbob200521 03-01-2015 04:27 PM

I'll hold off for the end caps as well on mine.

BassBlaster 03-01-2015 04:59 PM

You can ship mine without caps. I was thinking while Im welding the top bar, I may weld a couple of steel caps on.

had to put a new hydraulic cylinder on the tube bender had to machine a trunion to mount it. last cylinder i mounted temporary just to use the bender but it bent the rod in the cylinder because of too much side pressure this should fix it mounted much better and a larger rod in the cylinder third pic is the machine i made it on

Sam Mac 03-05-2015 12:20 PM

That looks pretty stout!

Dave01 03-05-2015 12:48 PM

Looks like you can bend up to around 2"?

gt383mag 03-05-2015 02:04 PM

i only have dies for 1 1/8 and 1 5/8 rite now usually when we need different sizes the first customers job will pay for them

That's my question. At first I was thinking definitely black, but then remembered that our 3204 uses yellow on the steel front bumper, looks good. Not sure .......

BassBlaster 03-09-2015 05:32 PM

My package got held up so USPS says it isn't coming until tomorrow which works out great since I have the day off. Ill get it welded up and hopefully get some paint on it. Im going with yellow!

Anyone know off hand, what size the bolts are?

Hard to beat a Gov job. My guess is they will update it after it has been delivered. Worst case is they lost it. If it goes through Roanoke VA all bets are off. They have manage to lose 2 shipments I made last year. Glad I had the insurance for both of them.

gt383mag 03-09-2015 07:34 PM

if they dont make it let me know ill ship ya some more gotta keep ya happy

PaulS 03-09-2015 07:40 PM

The box for mine is in great shape. Our rural delivery gal pulled up the driveway and handed me the box and with a little frown said watch it this box is kinda heavy. I told her it was a front bumper for my tractor and had a rear bumper coming for my pickup. She said she was taking off the day that was to come. I told her I was just kidding about the pickup bumper.

KayakDon 03-09-2015 07:44 PM

package

The package showed up just fine. No pipe poking out! If I lived in Wisconsin I would paint the bumper green. That way my cub would be a packer cub.:beer2:
