The duals look great! I, finally!, got my garden in on Sunday. Had a few hot dry days, but the ground was still a little moister than I would have liked. I just didn't want to give up any more of my growing season. The 982 had a few slight issues that I corrected. First was the throttle cable slipped on the lever side, and I lost my Rpm's. Don't really like press fit clamps, but that's what's there. I crimped it a little tighter and twisted some safety wire on either side to keep it from moving in the future. My lift got very slow. I forgot that I only replaced one of the relief valves because it was leaking. I put the other new one I had in and it was working better. Still not lifting with authority, but better. The 982 and 1862 are due for oil changes, and the 70 needs an air filter. I was in the garage the other day, and just wanted to see if the battery kept it's charge on the 70, so I turned the key, pushed the button and the thing fired up instantly, with no smoke. I need a set of 6-12 ags for it and some ribs for the fronts, and I think it will look sweet in it's original condition. Then maybe a sleeve hitch for the rear and a set of cultivators to keep the garden looking good.....maybe:bigthink:

Sorry - no pics:angry: Father-in-law is in bad health, so I don't have the benefit of any extra time right now. While my wife and I were planting the garden on Saturday, we got an emergency call and had to drop everything, close up the shop, wipe off real quick and speed off to the home. It's been pretty trying.

The 442 tiller is a dream to use. So overbuilt, I think I'd have to use it everyday of the summer for 20 years to wear it out.

I hope he gets feeling better soon! I know how it is to have drop something for family health reason.

I added a front center roller to my cast end deck to keep from scalping my yard. It made a big difference. No more bald spots in my yard. I made the roller out of plastic and the mount is 3/16" steel.

Hey everyone I'm pretty new here but this site has giving me the want to restore my tractors so I stripped my original done. I thought it was going to be a easy restore but I have found a bunch of little problems so now the fun begins hope to have it done shortly so I can put some pictures up.
