Got some assembly done, it's coming a long. I used the usual school bus yellow from tsc with hardener and reducer in my new Cheapy HF hvlp gun but it seems to do well. I also for the first time got the Napa martin senior white paint but I think they mixed it wrong as it's more almond to me than it should be for this serial range. I'm bummed out about it but oh well at least it will be uniform. I gave them the paint code and everything from our site and they said it crossed and I could have my choice of two different levels, I chose the industrial finish or whatever they called it, came pre thinned and everything, just had to add hardener. Learned something too, martin senior is a division of sherwin Williams, did not know that.

I would take it apart and check it anyway, there is no gasket on the end cap.
I like painting outside also, plenty of light.

Yeah that's probably a good idea I forgot about that actually for both ends. Surprisingly there wasn't any sand that got in the engine or transmission, it made easy work when I got it apart to just focus on the paint removal where the blaster couldn't get. I'm a fan of doing it this way and might do the next one the same who knows.
