I used to sell them. Asked how many wanted them and had all kinds of interest so I went and had a bunch made up. Then I ended up siting on them for like 2 years. My price was $7.00 plus $3.00 for shipping. Only reason I got into making them was to save you guys some $$. I never even used one myself. I'm all done producing re-pro Cub parts just to lose $$$. Here is a link for the adapter for $17 + change + shipping.

I'm also out of the drive shaft adapter business for the same reasons. Turned over all of my drawings to Jeff in PA.

I don't blame you Sam I would have been pissed also. Thank you for the info.

This is what you need. Maybe Jeff can make some up.
Attachment 71069

Let me know if you can't find the dimensions and I will measure one of mine. If you need one right now I can send you mine with some O rings and just send one back to me when you get one.

Oak measured his for me when I was making them. Pic is what he sent to me. I'm sure Jeff could make them.

Thank you Oak that's very kind! No rush I've waited this long another few weeks or so until I get one isn't going to kill me.

Thanks Sam, I have Jeff working on a quote for my special lower lift arms I'll ask him about this adapter also, or maybe :Announce: he'll see this post and chime in.

1811woody, I bought those quite a while back before Sam had his made up. Bought them from RF Houtz for around 15 bucks a piece, i believe. I didn't take any "how to" pix, but it is about the easiest damn thing ever. The biggest pain was cutting the hole for the valve. Didn't want to fubar my nice dash. FYI, you will need (3) 1/4" x 4" bolts btw... the return line will need altered but can work.

Honestly the easiest hydraulic project I have ever done... but I cheated and used hydraulic hose instead of steel line.

Yesterday was a good day in both weather and productivity. We finished the hydraulic lines, then we cleaned up the steering joint, and added a grease zerk just for grins, cant hurt anyway. We loaded it all up and took it to the shop where we power washed (Hotsy) the the tractor n all the painted parts, less the engine of course. Got it back to Keith's and started assembling the dash. Did other small items then painted the 3 point plate, called it a nite.

Keith got the engine all cleaned up and put together today. He did a good job! Just waiting on carb kit.

P.s. the plastics and new tire showed up today. Should be a productive week!

Looking good! I still need to pull the power steering and the rear end for the pump from the 1862 so I can turn my 1863 into a 1864. The cheapest 1864 I could find for sale around here was going for $1500.00 and it was pretty rough. In the end this will be more work but a lot more economical. What did your 1864 cost you? If you don't mind me asking.

Got it for a Lew price so to speak. Originally bought it for parts but between dad, Nightow1, and I, we concluded it was in too gooda shape to part.

Hood hinge and tire tubes arrived today. Ordered the carb kit for it today and hopefully the hydraulic outlets will be here tomorrow night. With any luck it wiil be put together this weekend to the point where it looks like an 18

Keith must have been bored today, sent me a few pix today. I obviously got a little excited.

You said you've done some waxing and buffing, no painting? Its going to look like a new tractor. Nice motor stand also.
