We received about 5-6" of snow today so I broke out the O with the 42" spring trip blade that I purchased on Saturday and plowed the 900' drive out. I found out that ags with out chains are not the best with going up and down the paved hills in the drive. I then had to put the original tires with chains on. I also see why I read others putting millions of pounds on the rearends with filled tires and tire weights!

So I had some issues with my belt slipping on my O while plowing snow earlier this week so I noticed when adjusting it that the flat washers were squished and no longer working as a locking mechanism. So I went to the store and purchased some new ones and installed them. I then have had issues with about 3/4 turn if the steering wheel so I decided to tear into that. I found that the two bolts that hold the steering column in place were about 1/2 way loose. I also noticed that the follower thing was also loose so I adjust it and wala, the steering is now much better. Next was checking the tension on the S/G belt and it needed adjusted. So while messing with that, I found that the motor mount bolts were loose. Upon further inspection, they were all stripped out. Another trip to the hardware store and that has now been fixed as well (at least short-term until I decide to go completely through it or not).
