ACecil, nice ride man! Those are some big looking leaves and the sweeper looks like it's doing a bang-up job!

Is that a new shadow on your chin? :bigthink:Or did your razor break? :bigthink::buttrock:LOL That looks good too!! ::Woo::IH Trusted Hand:

Thanks Roblynn! The razor's fine...LOL. I always grow a beard for the Winter. Keeps my face warm. :biggrin2.gif:

Great pics ACecil! I have a sweeper too, but seldom use it. It seems to fill up so quickly with all of our maple trees. Feels like I spend more time emptying it than filling it :biggrin2.gif:

Fine job!

Thanks Jeff! I'm pretty lucky, we only have the Sycamore tree. Cleanup isn't that bad for me. :beerchug:

Tri-ribs mounted No pictures.

I mounted my new tri-ribs and put them on my #1 100. I really like the way they look and the profile of the tractor with the narrower tires. Also a set of spindles arrived today for my #2 100. I only needed the left one but what ya gonna do? It felt good to do some work with them. I didn't take any pictures because I just uncovered the front end and installed them. I wasn't up to covering the tractor after letting it cool down from a short spin. But I'm sure I'll get some posted one of these days. The city finally put in my new sidewalks. So pushing snow on that 200 ft. should be gravy. Just watching the leaves fall, listening to the occasional crow or blue jay and rebuilding and painting the Cubs in my mind.

RPalmer,
Glad to hear you got your tires on, Did they give you much of a fight?

TEET 10-26-2009 10:26 PM

Nice work RPalmer! I'd love to get a pair of the tri ribs for my 73. How do you think it will handle in the snow? I also like the newer 16 x6.50 size tri ribs, but not sure they would look right on my 1211.

Definitely be nice to see a pic of yours when you get a chance! :beerchug:

That's great, RPalmer! You'll love how your cub steers with them. :beerchug:

Only when I tried to take small bites to save the paint. I finally said screw it and with a bigger bite they went on fine.

A fellow member on the forum who has many years experience with Cubs said they work good for him pushing snow. No pulling ect.. I'm not sure if I'll put a blade on it. I have 2 all set for the big white show. And I sorta told myself that I was not going to use in in the winter.
