The yard didn't need mowing so I kind of got carried away trimming some of the wifes weeds, ermm I mean flowers, and well see for yourself. I also got carried away with the garden spot and cleaned it up with the 1250 too. It's been a great morning.

nra1ifer 09-08-2010 03:58 PM

Yep, from the looks of your shop, there's plenty of room for you to sleep in there. You might be needing it for awhile!

_DX3_ 09-08-2010 04:04 PM

On the upside, I do have internet and tv in there :)... Have slept in worse... LOL... Yeah I am expecting a heck of a butt chewing,, don't know what got into me. Darn Cubs..... LMAOOOO

I fabbed a new battery box for the 126. The old one was hacked up and had been burned thru with a welder. I just need to weld it on and hit it with some paint.

http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a.../9-8-10001.jpg

Made a new mount for the clutch lever. I used 1/4" angle iron.

Now you should have plans for a new flowerbed now. Use the mean owe'd cubby to bring in topsoil and railroad ties for next spring.

Sminkey 09-09-2010 10:01 PM

Very nice work Adam!!!

Took my #1 tiller apart. Cleaned, primed, and painted. Will let parts dry overnight and put them back tomorrow. Sorry, no pics. Wife went to visit her folks and took the camera. I'll get some eventually.

Got my 71's fender pretty well straightned out, you can see in 1st pic how mangled it was. Also pulled out light switch and took it apart and found that the contacts were bent, so I repaired switch and will see if that fixes my lighting issue!!

ACecil 09-11-2010 11:09 PM

Nice job, Sminkey! :beerchug:

nikster 09-12-2010 07:21 AM

Today?

Maybe sand off the rust & stuff from my muffler on my # 109 wash it down with some naptha & paint it with some high/temp paint.

Starting to cool off real nice, & a pleasure to start tinkering & get ready to paint it. Cpuld'nt stand the high temps., humidity, even with a fan blowing on me. The heat just drained the snot out of me.

October seems like a good, cool month to paint,

Nik,

PurplDodge 09-12-2010 08:50 PM

Tore my 1440 apart this weekend to fix a wobbly front axle, loose steering box, and a bad ignition switch.

IHinIN 09-12-2010 09:09 PM

Cleaned up the engine for my 126 and started painting it. Got the tins primed and shot the cooling fins on the block with some hi-temp black.

Put the fenders back on the 126. Put on the grill casting and hood to check the fit between the hood and dash. It fits great now since the frame is straight. It overlapped the dash by about 1 1/2" before.

I finally had time to load up the dead and dying from this years garden Saturday.
http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...n/101_0522.jpg
I also started to re-do the hanger for the front blade so I can get some brush and fallen trees from this summer's storm in the back woods.

Diz Jr. 09-13-2010 07:56 AM
