Yep,the snowblower is in the shed, but I sold the tractor it was going on:Sad:...just have to put on the chains(always wait until the last minute)..I made a promise to my self that when I quit driving semi's, I wouldn't smell diesel smoke again, but I guess I'll have to bite my tongue...

It ain't a special grease

This is embarrassing. So you old timers get a chuckle and the folks new to Cubs will be able to get it right.

I went to my "go-to" electrical guys to check on some mag parts for my O. While I'm there I figure these are the guys to ask about that special grease in the starter/generator. You know the stuff looks and feels like soft bees wax. Well that soft bees wax it what the grease looks like after years and years of heating cooling. The special grease I need is wheel bearing grease. Dahhhh. I also put new Autolite 216 spark plugs in three Cubs and checked their point settings. Only one of three need an adjust. Have fun Cubbing.

:HeeHee:Gee Hawg....what you go and do that for - selling off part of your snow crew??

So what you going to do, just swap them back and forth, depending on if you need the blower or the blade that day? You think you will have enough weight on the back end of that smoker once you have to tear into a big *&$ drift in February? Might have to hire a couple of tubby video game playing kids from down the street to sit on the back to add weight. IF you can't find any, I could send mine out to help ya out - only catch is you would have to feed him. Hmmmm....maybe that isn't such a great deal for you?:biggrin2.gif:
